    Old Knight



    this is a character. done for a personal project.

    watercolor and colored pencil.

    Not bad but you could shorten the sword a little bit, it seems a tad too long. Other than that great job.

    I really like this, great character! Have you seen Mervyn Peake's illustrations for Through The Looking Glass? The old knight in the story reminds me of this - very nice

    Thanks for the comparison. I checked out Mervyn Peake's work, very interesting stuff. Definitely has a similar serious tone and caricature.

    Interesting character you have got there. Good work.
    Dont worry about the craning neck, long sword, etc. since they accentuate the character. Well done.
