The necks on the females in the first pciture are a little long and the girl on the lefts nose looks a little long on the 2nd picture. It amazes me how many unique thumbnails you can produce. The lizard man looks pretty interesting as well. Keep up the good work

Hey Unbreakable, thanks for the compliments on the other internet crack..err myspace. Got some nice stuff in here man, some interesting constumes and characters. It's hard for me to give advice these days or pick out one specific thing for a critique, there's so much cumulative stuff that goes into being a good drawer both in exection and content. Sooooooooo.. Keep doing both. Just keep at it man. Keep refining and learing, read and do the research and apply it to the art. And... be original. I don't say that because I see something to the contrary here but if you're going to do concepts you HAVE TO HAVE TO do something that no one else is doing. Look at other artist to see what people are doing and avoid apathy but only for that reason. Be your own man, do your own thing. Bring in subjects from outside of conceptart to your conceptart. If you do that you'll be a professional much faster than you think.

    Cheers m8, hope that helps

The way you draw the body is cool and your poses look strong too but the faces of most characters look a bit off and a bit bland. But thats just me,I realy love good faces on good bodies and you know what ,the face shows the expression of the whole body and mind ,it is the window to a characters' uniqueness and personality.
You got something good goin on there, just keep working.

Destinatus- yeah the one on the bottom i ment to make it longer just messin' around. but the top one was an accident. thanks

Steak- Wow!!! Steak-tron actually posted in my sketchbook. Yeah i total get what your saying about what all it takes to be a good drawer. Your comments diffently helped a lot.

zeeble- i glad you like that sketchiness makes me feel good.

bhanu- i'll work on those faces man . but i would like to know what exactly makes them bland the lack of express or what?

A more finished concept for my personal project. c and c welcomed

I like it, but I think the symbols on her clothing could be better, maybe more graphic, more a part of the clothing then an addition.

Unbreakable, I really like your line work, its very clear.your life studies are quite good, along with many very interesting costume designs. keep workin on the anatomy tho, and also the forms of your characters, how they all fit together. Its so hard(well i find it hard) to try and slick to the natrual grid of the face, yet at the same time, try and keep your drawings 'alive'.

Keep up the hard work, good on ya from New zealand

Zeeble- I understand what you mean about the dress. Thanks
Artificial- texture and clothing are two of my biggest weaknesses I will be working on both soon. Thanks
Tu- yeah I have been drawing just no way to post soon though soon.
Sybo-I currently working on construction of the head then I am going to move to the figure. I haven't really had time to focus on these things becuase i was so bissy with school and other stuff. Thanks

Dude, you know how to shade...well more than I can atleast..heh. I like it, shading and especially something I cannot do, folds and wrinkles..yours just flows naturally it seems. Your figure's bodies are good but I think some of the faces could use some work...good improvements though

nice stuff you got here Brian, the last one is my favorite. I would only say to Exaggerate it more. The side profile shot of her face is ok, just over lap the wrinkles of the clothing, like big time. Nice touch with star on the naked guy, lol. I would like to see more wrinkles and drapery if possible. Keep it up coming sir.

nice stuff in here, liking the characterdesigns. Could it be that marko Djurdjevic is one of jour main influences? SOmehow these designs remind me on him!
These figures are turning out pretty nicely but you should get some anatomyknowledge to makje them even better. These poses and proportions are quite good but they are definitely lacking anatomical structure.

Keep at it mate, I'll be back!

You've got a good thing going on in here. I think you should work on your rendering and shading. Give some of this stuff some depth. I won't say "keep it up or anything", cause you don't need me to. See ya around!

Yo brian, sorry I didn't call you back i just remembered just now, haha.

Any who, block your faces and put some depth in the eyes.

And make some better poses for your characters, they are just really weak and don't show your true strenghts. The guy with his hand just sticking out seems really boring and I don't know why he's holding his hand out, the placement of the feet look kinda weird.

Draw every type of attitude there is and see if people on the forum can guess what type of attitude it is, if they don't know and are confuse then work on that attitude. If they guess it right, no need to practice that.

    Arrow nice

man brian, you are getting much better. I like the way you keep at it man, good stuff. you seem to be working on pretty much everything you need to to get better. I see the anatomy studies and the character designs and I def like what Im seeing. only thing I would say is diversify your content a bit. lets see some enviros and vehicles, things like that. thats what im working on and it is actually helping me alot, getting my hand used to different types of strokes and forms, working with perspective. it all relates. now I def gotta start my sketchbook on here, keep it going man, it's awesome watching you develop your skills.
