Hello conceptart peoples,
My name is Rebecca Smith and this is a list of my personal projects that are mostly unfinished.

I'm currently enrolling into a community college, once I am done I plan on Transfering to a USC or a UC to get my BFA. The ideal job I'm working towards is a Concept Artist, 3D modeler or a Texture Artist. I am flexible so long as its Art, I just love designing and drawing. Computer Games and Art are my passions.

This picture was done for a figure class I took. I'm pretty proud about how it came out (pretty rare for that to happen!)

Hey there, great start!
You might want to tell where you're heading with your art. Just an artist "in general" or are you going for concept art, or perhaps somewhere else?

You've got pretty good bodies with nice poses. I think you should work more on faces/heads, they're not as good as the rest of your characters.
Like that first figure drawing you posted, keep posting them!

Yes, heads, hands and feet are my weakest points. I'll make sure to focus on those as much as I can.

Updating the page some.

Here are a few old sketches:

And my version of the Modern Venus, which I didn't get a chance to add because I took to long and I never finished it! (the sketched version is above)

Most of those sketches were for the weekly activities. I do that a lot. I make sketches of my ideas, but I'm not usually able to paint it in time. I get so frustrated lately with my paintings. They never look the way I want them to look.

Here goes another round of Sketches. These are more up to date:

I saw a cat outside in the bushes and I got inspired. I think I might paint this one in the future.

The bushes are in the shape of a heart.

Lots of New Sketches Eshara. You seem to have a good eye for design and shape, this is great.

You can do more studies of anatomy and figures at this point. It will also make you a much stronger Draftsman if you drew from life. Keep at it. it's nice to see you working hard.

I really enjoyed that first piece. Something unique about it.

Looks like you have a tendency to start out strong in a piece and then "give it up" a bit. I see some areas of most of these pieces that are amazing and then other areas that don't follow suit.

Working on anatomy... *Sigh* I hate to say it because it seems like the most generic crit to give since everyone says it... It's true though. I think a few of your anatomical studies were on and some were off.

I know the feeling yo, I'll check back in here.

Yea, I think my main problem is I lose insperation and sometimes even motivation. I guess maybe its because I feel like I could get away with it because they are only personal pictures. I also get very lazy at times and thats not good!
