Hey guys, totally new here I just started knocking the rust off and getting back into my artwork after almost 10 years. I had a good start in my teens, had some good work coming out was making a decent name for myself, getting odd jobs. Then I just quit... got burnt out for some reason. I just had some bad stuff happen in my life and the only escape I've found was getting back to my drawings. Here's a first sample, please be gentle:

Huh, working fine now. And I see you've posted an octopus!

It looks good, but the tentacles seem kind of flat and of inconsistant widths.

yea was having an issue with my web provider just got off the phone with them and got it cleared up.

If I take my time in my work it would probably be better, each of those you see took me under an hour... and as I said I haven't picked up a pen or pencil in almost 10 years, no professional training, all self taught.

I would like to start attending some art classes at the local college, just haven't found the time yet.

Gnarly lookin' octopus dude, my only opinion is that it should have chameleon/fishlike eyes the eyes do however give it a nice angry look.

I never go for realism, I just like ot draw what comes to mind.
