    random art dump

really random stuff. really. some finished, some not. some whacked out studies. some more academic stuff. yeah.

grar. editing again, sorry. this thread actually has a purpose now. i'd like to know if the brighter squirrel looks better than the more dull squirrel. the dull one looked really vibrant in my hands, but on the crit wall it looked very muddy. i can't decide for myself which version to count as my "final." keep in mind that it's for children, so i do want it bright. i just don't want it ugly.

I'm really stoked about the last one, now that's really where your talent is, try to concentrate more on that, cause it really came out great.

    Keep up the hard work.....

Some really nice pieces. I like the squirrel a lot, I am not sure which one I prefer, maybe something in between, or both... Are they different drawings or you have just edited the second one in PS? Anyway for a children I think the second one would be more appelative due to the bright colour. Anyway what are you going to do with it?
    Cheers

I like these pieces, as for the squirrel one, I think that the desaturated versino works pretty well, actually.

Yea, I would like to see some more of that real life art stuff (if thats what the last pic is), its very good! Also, I'd take the duller shade of the squirrel. It looks more realistic, to me, regardless of the preternatural colors. The grandma blowin bubbles is hilarious an I can't really understand what the barbarian is saying...I'm just slow. Good work!

What Iron Titan said. I reckon you've captured contrast really well in that last one, and I definitely want to see more similar stuff coming from you.
