Arrow frog and *BAM* !!!! (not actually) UPDATED DAILY

Hey so I just came to this board a bit ago, and its been pretty inspirational even after a week or so, so I've decided to start my own little sketch book here, and hopefully every day I'll have a new sketch or a few up. So yea! Crits are most welcome all that fun stuff just yea tell me watcha think.

I figured I'd start out 'strong', not that these are strong necesarrily but yea here are some sketches I colored over the past couple of days, just messin' w/ colors and stuff.

Thanks for the loooky see .

    Cute stuff.

You should work on cleaning up your lines. I understand you were probably going for a sketchy look with these, but in some parts it just gets confusing. Try not petting in your lines so much - it's hard, but it's good practice.

Post more! It's hard to give good feedback with so few images!

Ryn - Thanks, yea I know what your sayin' about the sketchiness, I think I tend to do the sketchy because it looks like crap if I draw it cleanly, but thats just the brutal honesty, plus yea I kinda am into the sketchiness. I will try to do a few pieces w/ some more definition though, thanks for the comment!

So yea here are my sketches for today, the first one the head is too big and yea the second one is kinda well.. sketchy I guess . So yea c and c most welcome! Here they are:

Thanks for the look and c'ya all tommorrow!

I shall do, I've heard of Loomis, I never really got into drawing from life. It's never too late to start though! I found some pictures last night and hopefully I'll get a chance to sketch them out and post them later.

Keep up the pace man, you've got a lot of drawings in here for the timespan compared to some other people. One thing I think you need to work on is line quality. Right now, it's killing some of your pieces.

Some work on heads would also be a good idea, as some of them don't look like they fit into the realistic or the cartoony.

dfacto - Thanks for the crit, it's much appreciated, what do you exactly mean by line quality though? Less sketchiness, or something else?

gmags - Thanks! I'm not stoppin', hopefully at least, 21 days to make a habit right?

I really like your style. Your first one at the top is great. You have a good eye for line and form. I do like your use of color, it works well with your style.

Ha, your drawings look like you're having a good time. Is that charcoal, or just really soft lead? I like the third from the top the best. The girl with the wavy dress. Very cool.

    I like them!

Nice sketchy style, and bright dymanic colors.
Kinda pop-arty style you got going.

Though in some sketches its a little too dirty at times.

Limes - its actually just a regular old pencil, I just adjust it in the shop to make it darker, it makes the coloring technique work best.

K so here are todays, not actually anything knew, but yea still like one and a half hours of art, so I guess I'm content!
