Gil Scott Heron has a new album. I didn't realize he died about six months ago. May he rest in peace. If you didn't know, he may have created hip hop about 40 years ago.

Another version of that song. Thought it sounded familiar. I used to fall asleep to this one.

As hipster as it is to say, I usually stay away from mainstream music. Because well... frankly to my ears it's crap 99% of the time. Found this song amongst the mainstream charts and my foots been tapping ever since.

i admit that fatboy slim made a lot of fucking retarded bullshit, but that tune that plays at the end of that Larry Clark movie where they kill John Conner from Terminator3 fucking rules.
same goes for these squelching acid masterpieces. for everyone who knows cutoff knobs mean more than just what happened to John Wayne Bobbit, i salute you

    That was awesome.

I've been listening to the Tron Legacy soundtrack a lot recently by Daft Punk. Found this on Youtube a little while ago and find it addictive.

And this one,but not for the whole 15mins.

Also I've been listening to a lot of Dream Theater because I am scared of looking for new music....

Minimalist electronica with a strong, but calm beat. Listen using good headphones.

Edit: apparently there are many remixes.

I've really gotten nerdy these last few months.

Honestly from what I can see they only have one other good song, but I'll try to investigate them a little more. Apparently this single for a Luna Sea tribute album had them branch out of their element and into a different genre than what they usually do. Probably applies to the other bands featured on the album as well.
