Hooray for variety! Pop, dance, rock, folk, and even disco within the last half hour:
The Teddybears - "Cobrastyle"
Kansas - "Black Fathom 4"
Jonathan Coulton - "Skymall"
Micheal Jackson - "Stranger In Moscow"
Les Claypool's Frog Brigade - "Whamola"
Buffalo Springfield - "For What It's Worth"
Electric Six - "Dance Epidemic"
Here's a beer commercial featuring "Cobrastyle". I'm posting it mainly because David Elsewhere is beyond awesome.

Jake, Records are the shit. As a fellow record enthusiast, I salute you. Now all you need is some Rush and Genesis and you're set.

oh and Kamikazebob, your musical taste kicks ass too! Eluveitie is an awesome group too!
Trumpeter Greg Kelley in an improviser whose work, both in solo contexts and with his main group nmperign, usually features quiet explorations of the extended technique of his instrument. Often, his playing sounds so alien that it's hard to tell he's playing a trumpet at all.

I actually really badly wanted to get that one at the record store but they only had Beat and Discipline. Both are a bit meh... I got a Yes LP instead.
NP: Deathspell Omega - Kenose
On vinyl! This record is certainly the best CD -> Vinyl adaptation I've ever heard. This just sounds so amazingly better on vinyl than on CD. I certainly wasn't expecting that!
Yep, I love Selling England by the Pound. That's the only Genesis I own though.
NP:
Deathspell Omega - Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum
I can't believe how good quality these LPs are... props to the anonymous band members for transferring their albums to vinyl the right way!
Pink Floyd - Animals
p.s. if these record pictures are annoying anyone, just say so. It's what they do on other forums so...
The Clash - Bankrobber
Scott Walker sings Jaques Brel. Totally theatrical! Brilliant!
Hey Posh do you have any of Scott Walker's new albums? They're absolutely brilliant. Scary, scary stuff but genius. They're called The Drift and Tilt:
He's too old to be as original and avant-garde as he is... I don't understand it.![]()
Hi Jake - A guy at work lent me The Drift and I couldn't get my head round it. On your recommendation I'll give it and Tilt another go.I prefer his earlier stuff like Scott 4.
hey jake ! my mistake i meant third eye xP sorry
