LOVE the self portrait, and the brains are super cool! keep it up, girl.![]()
hi Lefran..
happened to see your sketchbook..
i liked your sketchbook cover..awesome design and a fabulous sketch...
and those monkey, giraffe stuff...flying pigs..wow
why dont you try doing something for preschoolers..
you know? alphabet books, and small picture'tell tale' storybooks..
you have got a great style..
keep it up..
Ask me any doubt and i will help you out the best way i can..
as far as drawing is concerned...hmm.. you just have to draw...
draw.. and draw..
dont jump into character design before you get to know the fundamentals of the character...you see? design comes secondary..
get a good anatomy book..
i would reccomend andrew loomis figure drawing..( you must be having it already.. do i sound stupid..?)
and thats it..
keep workin and bye..
hey..ive got something in my sketchbook...its pretty new and i've just started getting audience..
pls do drop in and shot loud..

really great stuff in your last post, really diggin those acrylics/watercolors(?) Those Ruas studies are awesome, commencing google search of "Ruas"....now!
You GO, girl! Love watching how you develop ideas!
Amazing love the design in your work.
Cant wait to see more.
You have come a long way since the first pages, well done indeed, but don't slack of, keep working hard and keep working smart. I think more studies would get you on the way, and more drawing from life. If you have a DS or something you could get the painting software and do some lifepainting while out on a stroll

Heres a project im working on at the moment- we had a 3D sort of workshop assignment in Uni, and this is what i did.
The car doesnt look too great because the glue wasnt too great, and the card wouldnt curve- kept moving, so ended up doing the best i could with it, and snipping off the edges that ended up sticking out, but it doesnt look too neat!
some more owl related images- some rough sketchy type stuff for ideas and technique tests etc etc

I really like the Octopus t-shirt design, I hope it does well in the compo!

the first 2 on their own are quick digital mock ups, and the one sat in the tree is actual stuck down collage, thanks![]()

There's obviously a lot of quality around here at CA, but some things are my cup of tea more than others (individuality over flamboiance). I must admit your stuff has caught my eye, I'm looking forward to coming back and going through the whole thread properly.
cheers
