Yup, I was pretty much expecting those results, considering this is a Photoshop subforum.

Which is better for painting? There's no such thing. It's all about personal preference. My personal preference is Photoshop because I'm much more familiar with it and I like the arsenal of tools available, although most of them I only use for tasks other than painting. If I'd been using Painter for the last six years rather than Photoshop, I'm sure my vote would be for Painter.

I suspect most people seeing this thread will vote for Photoshop because most of the Painter-ers won't be venturing into our neck of the woods.
