    Holy doodle + new doodle

Fast doodle as a well needed break from drawing too many silly monsters.

And you're soOo right ! Done in 25 minutes ? Bastard, I love you !

And here the crit: First, something I wanna told you during this last month, but I was waiting for your new SB for writte it. I think that something change in your style and that you start to "lost" the Jean-Giraud style. "Lost" is not the good word... Arg, how can I said that ? Like a "mutation" in the way you draw. Maybe it's too early for said that, but I think that your style lost some influences for obtain some personality. That's the good point.

The bad point is... Well, is not really a bad point. But if you did it in 25 minutes, think about the way you put the values. Ho, it's good, very good... But I was thinking about something. Even if you have no backgroud, you can suggest something with a few brushstrokes, like you did on the character. even if it's just some textured brushstrokes, for dynamism. My two cents.

Anyway, it's just a doodle, I know. And a holly one, for sure !
    Cheers, bro !

Alday.J - Good thoughts, bro! I think in most of my recent stuff it will be hard to find any Gir influence, but the doodles still give me away. The less i think about how i draw the more it shows i guess. Also it is a pretty nice way to draw fast with few details. Good crit on the bgs! I alwas let my lazyness make me leave a piece too early. I will keep it in mind and i needed to hear that - thanks, dude!
poise - hehe that might just put you on the top 5 list of the weirdst replies so far .

    hey man, nice sketch,
just a crit, sometimes your faces show the same features, so the faces look the same. Maybe some faces or head studies will help.
    Anyways cool sketch.

nice little sketch, and although poise is fuckn' nuts(i love ya baby) she has some good points. Bring this lady all the way....she'd be in perfect contrast to your hard, dark vile monsters...soft, light, beautiful....
Your world just got much more dimensional. cheers mate

Definitely make a doode thread, Fellah. Don't stop working on finished pieces, but I have to admit I, too, miss your doodles and sketches. Go, go, go!

Fellah, I'm wondering how your mind works. It was a long pleasant discussion about how lovely it would be if you work more on this holy spirit, everybody behaved himself, (except poise ).everything was nice and decent. You were rambling something back too, that you agree, and you are in this with everybody. Then you proceeded to draw this totally nasty creature. Very, very playful brains you got.
Your dancer is great, I'm very grateful you did it. Sense of humour is very attractive. So please, do more. I, btw, knew that you have this in you .
And for me it was much more interesting interpretation of the theme.

Is the last drawing half traditional, half digital? or totally digital. Hard to tell already, actually, very smooth.
    Sveta
Looking froward to see your new book ( and promised by you paintings).

sve - hehe, yeah i got a weird brain, no strukture what so ever. Like a little dog running after a butterfly, then a bee, then a funny smell, then...Glad you liked the dancer Yup, half traditional, half digital - like most of my work. Cheers!
Alday.J - haha, it would seem so

Fellah, your dancer in the red leotard, with a round belly and elegant pose is standing in front my eyes. He is unforgettable. I smile every time I see him. I'm so glad you did this image.
Like a puppy running for life seductions. Wow, who is a poet now? Very vivid image . But I don't believe it applies to you. I think you know what you want. You are in control of situation in most cases as I see it. Or I would have flowers in every post .
