Hi, another from me: In past tread it been wroten about this... I dont like wery much Computer Graphic. I think that classic tech is better (this is just mine oppinion, so please dont start this subject) so I want to find job where I dont need to use Computer. What opportunities do I have? I dont think just about game industry, I think of all visual arts jobs.

To CG or not to CG

Not knowing Photoshop, scanning etc is like not knowing proper perspective and being a professional illustrator.

For me it is an absolute professional requirment.

Like being able to move the camera up or down 30 cm in a storyboard drawing or drawing the change in the objective between a 30mm and a 70 mm lens.

I highly recommend learning photoshop and scanning even if you only work with traditional materials.

Feature film productions, TV commercials and computer game productions all rely on computers in their production cycles.

    Cheers,
    Leopoldo

I somewhat disagree with the previous post. From experience, if you work in the animation industry (TV series) and in a big studio, you'll never need to touch a computer.
OF COURSE all that might change when you hit smaller scale teams or even more advanced high-end studios.
There must be other fields like this but not knowing at least the basics of computery will certainly impair your job opening possibilities. Unless, of course, you're godly at your art.
