    Love your work and how angular/edgy your style is. The best part, it still has a great sense of motion!

    I love the angular "impressionistic" style. Would make for some interesting animation. One thing with close up of the girl is the eye close to camera seems off. Maybe a little too close together.

    The designs I like. The first one is rather simple, but the little bit of flair in the neck and bracelet-like gloves is nice. The coat on the second one is FUN for illustration purposes, but I don't think it would be feasible in another medium (gaming, comic, animation...too much detail). It's got a great organic-yet-technological look to it. ^_^ I also really enjoy your rendering ability with all that texture...the hair is especially nice and soft.

    The anatomy really needs work to make these pieces look perfect. The female has uneven shoulders and hips (her right hip is HUGE), her elbows are too far down, her right shin bone is bent (the foot doesn't line up with it), and the gap between her legs is impossible. Her torso and legs are way too long...but I'm going to assume that's a stylistic choice.

    The male design is harder to judge with the cloak, but he's just as weirdly elongated. His neck in the second piece bothers me the most. Elbows too low...Yah, it just creeps me out how disjointed they are. ^_^;

    Wicked cool! It's almost cubist in it's approach. Very neat way to explore a character design... what medium did you havin mind for it's use? 3D? 2D? Comic? I imagine it would push 3D more than it might go... Also nice soft colouring... I love the rocky collar/scarf things! Super cool! 3/4 face fo the girl could do with a bit better relation of shapes... Eyes seem to close together and therefore makes the image a little unsettling. Beautiful rendering on the full body poses of the chick.

    Good on ya! All the best with the contest!

    I seen some of your stuff from CG talk and your one many artist that I'm fan of. You have a very intresting and cool style. Like everyone else is saying, what I like about your work is the angles and edges in them.

    Back to the Basics

    You've blown me away, these are fantastic!

    There are a few tweaks to be made to the female, which have been mentioned. The one main one that sticks out to me is in the portrait, the eyes are out of line, or to close togerther. Its hard to tell with the hair over it. The hair btw, is perfect. How did you do it? If you dont mind me asking. But the male imo is flawless. That costume is unbelievible. So angular, yet so organic, its likes to grown up around him. The circular motifs pear out like eyes.

    Good luck with the comptetion man, not that it looks like you need it .

    Cool designs.

    Love your coloring technique.

    Only one suggestion: In your second pic the dirls hip on the left side of the pic looks a bit off, or is it just your style

    Mouse is like my own hand now, so I can't paint with tablet. It look like I'm gonna paint the large scale canvas with a pen or little brush.

    When I paint, I feel like I'm painting the large scale canvas with large brush not A4 paper with pen hehheh

    Awsome designs!

    The third image looks as though there is a conflict between the angle of the face and the top of the head, could just be the direction of the hair.

    Love the Edges!
