Here's a vehicle I did recently, I used lightwave to quickly solve the view of the object, then I rendered it in photoshop.

Pretty cool looking. It seems like you wouldn't be able to see out the front of it that well... I don't know much about car design so maybe you could fill us in with some details of what it is, how it works, etc.

It looks boring to me, maybe you could add some more details or do another angle.

this is very well done and kudos to you for breaking out of the box and using another program to help you communicate your idea!

    2 small crits

    1) the top 'windshield' looks matte in comparision to the rest of the vehicle which is a visual contradiction to what we are expecting. even some general transparency insinuation could go a long ways.
1b) along w/ that, it is helpful to place the bg color in your reflections to help give it a sense of existing in the space.

    2) to really make this design pop more, desaturate your bg or cool the hue to make the orange of the car stand out.

excellent job once again, i look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the comments! I didn't use any texturer on anything. I went to the Gnomon live event here in Los Angeles and I learned a ton of stuff. I applied a few things Neville Page taught. I draw comics professionally and let me tell you, this concept designing stuff is beyond fun!. Check out my vehicle design I posted also, I'd like to get your opinion on that too, I applied some stuff I learned from Scott Robertson at the same event. Those Gnomon guys are very knowledgeable folks.

I'd suggest spending more time and learning proper perspective rather than using a program to solve this added dimension for you.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Excellent advice for a rookie artist! I've been a professional for a few years and I've done tons of stuff by drawing grids, placing point etc. etc. blah blah, I use the 3D software to speed up jobs. I know for a fact that people like Scott Robertson use 3D software on occasion to "Quickly" solve views just as I've done here. It's a matter of deadlines and time. In my case I have work to do so I don't have more than 1 hour to do a quick skectch like the one above. Fundamentals are always good to use, but being resourceful is equaly important. Any professional artist will tell you that.

    Another little car

Here's another little four wheeler I worked on recently, The tires are a bit rough and if I had more time I'd go back and fix them but this is as far as I'll go on this.
