Lovely stuff as always!Your comic style is great and very prfessional. What are you waiting to do something "serious"? I see that you have some prismacolors or tetra markers, did you buy them in Italy or online?I am looking for a set of prismacolors, but they are damn expensive!!!
    Keep updating this fast!!

    Cool

I went your whole sketchbook trough and I like how you draw Lord Of The Rings and al those fantasy warriors I can't wait to see more of LOTR.
If you had a buyable sketchbook I would buy it in the shop .

PS: Nice work of that Sith Lord

    Can't Wait for more....

Damn, such a huge improvment I feel over every thing prior. Anatomy seems really, and ideas interesting. More what I picture in a sketchbook. What is the brown, watercolor? ink? Love your updates.

Good updates, some very good postures.

PS: "Hola"? I thought that italians said "ciao" (pretty confusing for us that say "chau" when we leave, and both sound alike).

    Ciao Ryan!
Whoa, I leave for a couple of months and when I come back I can't believe in my eyes! Really great improove man, oh, not just an improove, you do the step. I'm really happy to see your new stuff! I see a kind of general bravery on your lineart, bold poses, really nice and fluid gestures, and great sense of humor (would be nice if all the guys can understand italian on your baloons...what the english translation for "stringilechiappe"? LOL).
Definitely you mind me a great friend of mine, on Liceo Artistico, the original creator of my "huge lips" version caricature
I really enjoy your last inking style that mind me some french authors.
I'm not ready to give you some crit now, I'm still too surprised, but I subscribe your SB now, I'll try to write more usefull post on your next entries.

    Continua così, cazzo!
    Cheers

[Edit: thanks for the visit, I see it now, we post contemporaneously)

I like the lines you made. Like you just draw without effort and letting the world twist and turn to make up the great anatomy, and other impressive stuff. Looks awesome. Elevating drawings mate! Keep it up!

hey gnoll, thanks for the post in my sb. im seeying you're doing allright in here. sometimes your construction is fine, in others less good. i think you miss some consitency in that point. maybe work on foundation of shapes and stuff. but your idea's are very good, you got a nice imagination and thats super important. the anatomical reference book im reffering to is the following:

    http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Artist.../dp/078948045X

since i have this book (by Sarah Simblet and john davis), i really made a big leap in insight i think. the photo's are of remarkable 'usability' quality for drawing and understanding the anatomy. they've olied their bodies and the lighting is always very strong, so all nice bumps will pop out and you really see everything very well. almost as good as lifedrawing. there's also nice transparent overlay pages, that show you the bones underneath certain photo's of bodyparts.

i REALLY recommend the book. its pretty expensive but worth every pennie. as i always say: 'better one good ref book then 5 sucky books'

    cya man

@aph: LOL! keep in touch matey

@Camara: dang man...that HURT! i wish i had time and\or will to start something "serious"...that is a very importan problem you brought up
the markers are promarkers, and i bought them here in italy, yes, they are quite expensive...

@Grizzliman: its been some time since i've drawn some serious fantasy warriorz thanks for the nice words!

@MonkeYoakum: thanks man! actually the brown stuff is badly scanned warm grey markers

    @Justin Oaksford: thanks Justin

@lennon: thanks man.Yeah, in italy its "ciao", but i was just fooling around...what language is "chau" btw?

@Dreamworker: hehe si in tutti i sensi grazie Paolo

@kischi: thanks man, i'm trying to!

    @ICH: cazzo si! grazie ICH

@joaKimArt: thanks for the nice words man, i will

@William b. Hand: thanks for the visit Will!

@B-Man: aaaaaarrrrggghhh its hurts so much but you are so amn right.

@Call0ps: thanks man! hehe lets see what happens in the next 60 pages

@Teh Gosu: you're definately right about the consitency issue...that book sure looks interesting, could make an ineresting christmas gift indeed

ok peeps. No big news, art school is still a blast, as well as my GF.
I'll take my wacom to my GF's place this week, lets see if i find some time to paint...the worm guy is just a character for comics class, i'm having fun with it and with the inks...made a brown paper SB and its really cool, i feel all full of artsy shit.

Gotta draw more babies n chicks!

in the brown pages you can see a quick statue study (its full of those cool things at school) a few poses studies (pose but not charas come from comics) and some villpu studies.

    ciao!
