Interesting creatures as usual, maybe try inking a few of them. You need to draw some different subject matter, it might help you get out of you non-drawing mood too. Take another stab at drawing females.![]()

Hey man, linework is looking strong and creature designe is ace. Draw more from life, you will not regret it if you can get past the initial boredom/frustration- you will learn great values and such. Tis the best resource ever!
Your imagination stuff is looking pretty sharp, poses are nice- though i notice on the guy with the dog the angles of the arm seem to be off, you should try and hammer out some studies. Great work-keep posting!
@bbwolf: I'm currently checking out Christian Lorenz Scheurer's "Introduction to digital painting" (the very basics of matte and landscape painting, really).Glad you liked my stuff, and thanks for stopping by as usual
@blanquish:thanks
@AvatarJimmy: Thanks for the commentsAbout maya, good to hear i've got someone to ask my stupid questions to
@this1: thanks for stopping byyeah, you're right about the red eye dude, but actually the whole shoulder/chest/head area is fucked up
@mentler: thanks for stoppin by bone doctor.DOn't worry, i actually DO fill a page everyday (at least a page), but they're just not worth posting at all, believe me
@Listing: well, thanks!
@SanXavier:Thanks! about the creature coloring, i guess that is part of my plans.As soon as i have time i'll try
@Smuli: Thanks a lotAs soon as i have time you'll see some colours on those bastards
@octopus interphone: thanksdunno if i'm gonna ink them, i like my rough pencils
.ABout changing subjects, i guess i should really...
@Spade:thanks Spade
I actually did some still life studies at school for a few years, and actually, I didn't get over the initial boredom and frustration.But i guess the afternoon is ong in summer so i might as well tryI See what you mean about the dude's arm.
Ok, i'm long reply now, just a quick.
Just trying out some kick-ass-Fellah-style![]()
I acctually do like the last one, BUT I dont know how about
fellah style, hehekeep it up man, good work overall!
hehe respect for trying to get fellahs style, there are only a few things I can imagine that are harder to do. Though I really like the painting. I change my approach to digital painting in each piece I paint, that's a great method to develop own style, and its fun as hell.
Good work mate, more of that stuff![]()

Hehe - nice try, mate! I really like it. Nice feeling of a story to it too. Just watch the sun - looks a bit pasted into the bg and makes things look slightly flat. Try making the sun and bg blend a bit more. And make the bottom of the sky a bit lighter than the top. Texures look nice - have you tried making them on a seperate layer and then make a really cool eraserbrush and go nuts? Its fun! Also you could make some crazy abstract texture paintings and use them on top of another painting on overlay mode etc. Looks good, man - keep it up!
@Dile:thanks
@Gloominati:Thanks.YEah, this was damn harder than i expected...I guess i'll leave this kinda stuff for Simon Fellah
@Fellah.:glad you saw it and kinda liked it tooGuess i kinda messed up the sun with that smudge tool, and coudn't recover.I'll remember that thing about the sky too.I did the textures just like you said, but forgot too use a cool eraserbrush instead of the normal one.Thanks for all the suggestions anyway
ok, dunno why today i felt like using PS, but it was good.I feel quite lost without my scanned pencil lines, but i tried doing something.Not that good, but at least i'm practicing digipainting![]()
Damn nice updates latley, and the last digi-sketch are very nice (feels very much like a chuck, mate sketch, or am I wrong?). Would love to see that guy cleaned up and with some color (i would get rid of those speed lines, or whatever it is ..
)..
Dont have much more to say, or wait.. keep up the good work man!

Gotta agree with the rest of the folks. The last pic translates speed. Good match. nice to see that you take yer own advice do it entirely digital. Even more cool to know that you miss yer lines, too.![]()

Nice, very nice, movement and dynamics of the pose is reading well. I'm in the same boat as you as far as digipainting goes, I really need to jump into my wacom head first. I can't wait to see more please.
@dvorjack: thanks ,chuckmate's style was veri inspiring indeed
@dhilipsomesh:Thanks, i liked your tech designs a lot
@blanquish:Thanks! more digital soon
@bbwolf:Thanks mate.yeah, you got the whole point exactly
@Darktwin:Thanks!
ok, just some warm up doodles this morning, more digital later (a troll)
ok, got bored pretty quickly with this one, and got lost in between.LEarned something tho
ciao!
yeah post 374 is really good, i like these studies, would love to see more.
with the last dude i like the eyes alot.
Yay! keep feeling the pages, the latest updates looks really coolawsome!
What can i say more ? nothing I have no crits for now,just keep the work up!!!
~Dile
I really dig the chest/stomach and his left arm areas in hat last piece... face is a litle crazy, but it's a cool sketch nonetheless.
although incomplete, as you said you got bored with it, it looks pretty good, it isnt completely polished through, but it stands strong as it is. I like the first image you posted from your most recent warmup sketches. The warrior looks pretty tight, maybe you can go back and ink him in, or even put him throught the digi process.
"KEEEE-YYYAAAAAAHHHHHH B!TCH!!!!" - Ed Wuncler III, The Boondocks
Nice work with the colour sketches! I like how you've kept down the colour contrast (to a good degree). I think the latest monster's left lower arm and hand could pop out more though. On the anatomy sketches, there seems to be some inconfidence with the elbow area. Studying those muscles in different poses and remembering they go straight when tense could be the cure.
cool colours dude!
Oh and well done winning the world cup in soccer

@Dile:thanks mate
@strych9ine:thanks, glad you liked it
@this1:thanks.It was just supposed to be a pose practice.I could work more on him, certanly...i just have to be in the right...mood.
@smuli:I see what you mean, thanks for the crits.Unfortunately i find anatomy too boring...but i guess we all gotta do it....
@blanquish:Thanks for the comment.Yep, world champions.I aint really interested in the whole football thing, but that night i really had some fun.I was seriously drunk too, btw
ok, a decent update at last, just some sketches, a Batman done for a kid (wasn't supposed to be him, i had no ref and the pose is kinda wonky but whatever), and a sideview (guess i'll have to practice orthos sometimes)
ok, here ya go
ciao
hahahah lol *gimme ya love!!! i luv this cracked up charas
the colours loookin good so far with the last one
i´ll be back
nice stuff as usual, no major crits. a minor thing on the creature below batman is the pattern doesn't follow the folds in the skirt-thingy and he seems a little asymetrical. really liking your colourd stuff so keep at it![]()

@octopus interphone:shit... you're damn right.That was really a stupid mistake...oh well.More coloured stuff soon hopefully
@pixeldragoon: thanks, glad you like it![]()
I really like this one
http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/8470/krax7yq.jpg
you used a selective line work and that gaved
a better focus on the main caracter,
now lets go for todays critics, you could be a little more
sensitive on your lines usage, good to see you trying
to upgrade that part of your art, just keep at it, oh
and slowing down could be a good thing for some of
this ones, I mean I know they arent supposed to be
final pieces of work, but sometimes takeing your time
to do a cleaner render could help you learn a few new
things, as rigth now your values dont show from as
good as they could, just push em!*as usual take
my ideas with al lot of salt mate, Im just learning this
things my self*
http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/1...deviewckd4.jpg
wow , thats an awsome concept Gnoll!
More of that please! Keep it up![]()
@maxetormer:thanks for the comments and suggestions.Yeah, i definately need to put some more time in my stuff...
@Dile:thanks mate.Yeah, guess i'll need to do mor.
Ok, i've been quite busy lately getting drunk and doing stupid things like burning myself with cigarettes to draw, but i actually managed to play the best Call of Cthulhu RPG session in years (i was the GM, we were all drunk n stuff but it was damn fun, believe me).So here you can see the sheet of paper i had in front of me while taking (the game was from 2:30 AM to 6:00 AM) and there were so many scribbles and doodles on top of each other you can just see the last ones.
Then, another drawing, its a Deep One, from Lovecraft's "The Shadow over Innsmouth".
Not much of an update, but just to show you i'm still alive
ciao
dude your stuff is getting wackier and wackier by the minute.
no crits but keep posting this dope, im high and i need my fix.
im not sure about the whole, getting drunk then drawing thing, but its working.
the drinks are on me
