damn, this is some high quality stuff you got goin. Not much to crit from me, keep posting.
You shouldn't be allowed to post here. Your drawings make me feel bad about basicly everything I've done so far. My favourite amongs these posts is the first one, the pencil drawing. If I'll be able to produce something that resembles that I'll be very proud of myself. I also really like the simplicity of your colours. Gonna have to bookmark this thread.
hey all
I'm back again with a few more things. Placeboast,styler- thanks for visiting, you guys have great work as well. I hope you keep visting.

Cool, clean sketches Gary. And also, welcome to CA! I'm liking the comic book style you've got going on. Very nice tour posters too, we don't see many of those around here. Cheers!![]()

Below: Pages 1-8 from my comic "Waves of Infinity" I've been working on this property for about two years with Bryan Ellis (writer ), Tim Bauer (inks), Mike Adams (color - www.geckodojo.com ). We're about four issues deep now but we wont show anything else except for pages from the first issue. Currently, we are talking to two publishers about this property and hope to launch it soon.
tune in again same bat time, same bat channel
Holy shit! Nice stuff man! Are the concert events posters for real or just made it for fun?
These concert posters are real. The first poster i ever did was for Slipknot, i was 18, I'll be 24 next week. I wanna start doing stuff for M.F Doom and other artist from the Rhymesayers label but, my number 1 love is comics.
Hello boys and girls, I'm back with some new post. Enjoy

Great comics style, i also love the second last one with the kid looking under the bed, the expression of the clown is priceless.

-see ya next time
Wonderful, wonderful stuff you have here! It makes me loose all hope in my own drawings!![]()
Quincer- my man, I've been drawing for years and i've felt the same way about some of my stuff. I just bust-ass until i get it right or walk away from a piece for a while and then go back to it later. I also take my sketchbook "almost" everywhere I go. I try to knock out at least two pages in it a day.-but all in all just keep drawing man.

really nice stuff u got goin on here. your penciling work extremely well done. Your digitals however seem to lack a lot of the tonal control in your pencils. This one: http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/3083/witchit1.jpg is a good example of what i mean. I'm no expert on this, but i just feel that something was lost from pencil sketch to digital version. keep on truckin.

ArtZealot: Thanks for the view, you're right I didnt stick tothe pencils as much as I should've, although there was alot that I wanted to change in the process. Also there's alot I wish I could've kept, like the thicker hair, the wiskers over the upper lip and the scar which runs over the top of the head and over her right eye.
thank you again ArtZealot your crit was helpful
Gary, cool stuff. You can use work in a couple of areas, but who can't. It will come with discipline and time. Good luck with publishing thye comic. Drop me a line if and when it happens and I will pick up a copy.
something quick and new

Wow man, I'm really loving these...
My fav is this one:
http://features.cgsociety.org/galler...5644_large.jpg
The guy's pose is great, he really looks like he's just floating there, tell me, did you draw him right side up and then just turn him upside down? Or did you just paint him as is?
I'd expect it'd be a tad bit more difficult to do it upside down.
Really inspiring. Keep it up!
drd:-thanks for the props dude, in this piece http://features.cgsociety.org/galler...5644_large.jpg I drew the whole thing by hand, the only time i drew it right side up was when I was sketching out the figure. And you're right, it is difficult as hell to do so.
