Hello, well I just got really bumed down cause I got rejected from an editorial,
I made several ilo tests for them but in the end they did not go for any of
them, wich really got me depressed, I guess Ill just go try to the next one
and like that till the end of times, man living like a freelance aint easy...

So here they are the ilos and some imagination un god and a girl having a nice
good ol head ache

That's rough man... It's one of the hardest things about this field. We constantly feel like we're not good enough, and then... Well, I'm not trying to kick you while you're down. Just keep plugging away at it, it wasn't a rejection of you, just wasn't what they were looking for.

You didn't seem as comfortable with the girl and dog as you are with the majority of the stuff you've posted. Do you think this is maybe because the balance of "out of your head" VS "life" drawings is off? I don't think so... I've seen a lot of imaginative stuff from you, and it still seemed to have the vitality of your life drawings. It's really hard sometimes to "switch gears" from one type of thing to another... I don't know. I'm trying to be encouraging, and truthful (as I see it) at the same time, when I know you're feeling a bit down... And I think I might be coming off as an A-hole, so I'm just gonna let it go.

Keep on doin' it man! I love your work, and it always inspires me to work harder. Take care, and be good.

and I guess it shows in some areas, I liked the kid running and the big kid
with the green robe and the blue dog, but hey I know I cant win em all,
Im still years away from been the painter I wanna be, and hell yeah the gap
you talked about sure exists you see by every 20 lifedrawings I make 1
imaginaton pic looks solid, so I REALLY need heck of alot more practice

Luis my friend, you never stop amazing me! Your streak of rock solid pieces never stop, its inspiring to behold! I like how every page you post has a constant quality. Normally when i do something cool on a page i have some crappy stuff on it as well.

I noticed something kind of freaky on that last page, there's a few of those thumbnails that looks VERY much like some thumbnails i did a while ago! atleast the way i remember them! Its almost scary!

No crits from me this time, I just wanna thank you for rocking my socks!

If i would have ONE nitpick it would be that the heart on the bottom of the "queen of hearts" piece looks like an upside down spade with that thing coming out of it on top.

The initial concepts for the ChOW are lookin' good. I was going to give it a go, but didn't really get started yet, and I have to go back to work tomorrow, so... The guy with the biohazard emblem on his armour, and the cod piece just cracked me up! Your brain takes you funny places sometimes, innit?

Those ink drawings are just beautiful, too... I totally agree with what Hurricane said, and actually was thinking something similar. There's just some people's work that is sooo... I don't know, it's almost painful to look at some of your drawings because I admire them so much.

You are rigth, get that same felling with hurricanes and most of the
pros around here, Im glad you like my work man, it really lifts my spirit to
read you get something out of my constant battle with paper

just keep pluing the skech away, the more you do the easier it gets,
not that I find it easy to do, but I do have to admint that certain things
do give me a littel bit less problems.

Ok some updates chow ideas I think I almost got it, and some elf, and
so that you guys see I still hammer the anatomy thing some arms

YO guys!! Im pretty sick right now I dont know what I got
but this virus or bacteria its not leavenign me alone,
I REALLY, really apreciate all the comments and I will reply as soon
as I fell better, in the middle time here are some doodles I
did in betewen headaches and Fever, I will be back,
