Great updates, Max! Lovin' the stuff you're postin' bro! I can't wait to see more! The inks are lovely as well. The image of your Dad is my fav! Great work! The colors are looking mighty good too. I have no backbone for color so it's nice to see someone making some strides in that area! I need to hit the sack as well but I wanted to pop in a issue some words for ya! Keep it up!!!

Hard working man you are. Great stuff here and I really respect the amount of effort you've put in your drawings. There's progression thoughout your sketchbook, especially in the shading. I like that last post of yours, but at the moment I'm not using colors at all, so I tend to look at the sketches more carefully. Only thing that bothers me here is David's boobs. Will have to follow your progress in the future.

Nice effect with the lighting on your self-portrait. With the whiteness of the torso, the beard comes at ya like it's in 3-D. Very nice. I also really like your pen work; you pack a lot of detail in with even the loose sketches. You have a very unique style of line too. I think so, anyways.

Inks are lookin' good, mate! The charcoals are pleasant as well. You can really see the form in the first one. I like it a lot!! Don't stop! Keep it comin'!!!

I know what you mean about one class drawings. Most of my teachers only give us the class to work on a drawing. I never feel like I get anything to a level I'm happy with. I'm so SLOW!! Arg... anyhow... hope you're doin' well, bro. I really wish I was headed for Mexico again this Winter... it's so freakin' cold. lol Ah... I long for those sandy beaches...

wow, now that last sp of yours really kicks ass. you seem to have either gained much more control over the hatching, or spend much more time with hatching it. whatever you did, it worked, it is much much convincing and catching than your other portraits. wish you'd spend more time with the hair,... *g
