shit now that last page is awesome.

the hand "portrait" looks a bit feminine, although i know how you let your nails get outta hand (oy).on the other hand(argh) how did you do those strokes with acrylics? it looks like you used pastel crayons or something like that. really nice textures aswell. it feels very 3d.

hito: Hey man thanks!! I enjoy your updated as well,
    thanks for droping around!

Carnifex: hey my man!!! hows life? yeah I gotta cut that nails,
shave and take a bath, dude I live like a smurf caveman har har
well about the acrylics I used a mixture of dry and wet brushes to
give some hues that I thought were to hard to achive with a wet
on wet tecnique as the paint dryed real fast, but if you take a
little amount of tick paint with a dry brush and apply it on top
I discovered you can get some rather nice noise textures.
Thanks for stoping by and for the ecouragment, may we meet
again on another workshop my friend!!

rodrigo!: The nails maybe, but after close consideration I decided
to keep the beard, its my chick magnet, (yeah I wish... )
thanks for droping around, and drop us a bone would ya I wanna
see what you been working on man!, keep the spirit UP!

Ok so I decide to just LET GO, and this was the result...

    Antomy form studies from references

I like the result of your latest update. Just letting go eh..
Some of them are a bit messy and chaotic. But they are definitly lovely.
    The first page is awesome.
    Post more of that stuff!

ha! i know where you got those refs! deviantart CAN be useful sometimes,ne?
anyways sweeeeet stuff there man. my fav is definately that first pic outta mind, the girl wanderin around topless. i really like the slight indication of enviros in the rest of the pieces, esp. the "graaaaar" page. although that "RARA" one is really good aswell, definately a new level for you. love the strong contrast, pose could be abit more forceful though. like,he's really grabbin and pullin the boy's hair and slightly lifting the sword/knife(?),ready to strike down. because a man that frightenin lookin surely doesn't belong to a peaceful religion.
as for myself,i'm doin quite fine. got myself a girlfriend(can you believe it? my very first),so i'm not quite doing as much drawing lately
school's rather boring, although we have an exhibition tomorrow where we present our copies of old masters (and although i've chosen bouguereau,i'm rather bored by copying). so,all in all, quite well.
yeah,i hope we meet in italy on the next workshop.
    have a good time!

edit: ok,i take back that about the copying being boring. it's not as easy as it seemed at first.

Jens: hey thanks man!!! In real happy to hear you diged the inks
will do more had studies like that one, and I will think more about the
    setup, I promise

Hypronost: will do that, and messy is good, I would do anything
to battle the stiffness away he he

n0fish: DUDE! hows life!! I hope good, I got them like carni just wrote
from a DA stock photo album, its got some really asum photos,
heres the link, I hope you find em usefull too.
and yep I singned up, may the gods of CA smile at me!!

and thanks for the props I means a lot to me!!!

shyamshriram: I agree I need to keep those saturated magenta
strokes at bay, he he Im glad you rember that I asked you
that, I think it was my first post on you skb, your one of the
ppl that I admire the most and I strive to be on your level one
day, many kudos to your art!!! thanks for stoping by!

Carnifex: Carni!!! man thanks for taking the time to drop around
now I must go your skb to drop some good criticing! good to go
on getting a GF having a musse is always helpfull!
Yeah coping at first seems bland but once you really get
onto the tiny bits of detailing and figuring out why this or that
stroke is placed, on this or the other way, things get quite complex,
I copied the Dead Dealer back on my uni, I got real close to it
I still have it and some day ill hang it on my living room and
ill fool ppl into thinking is the real thing (I mean mine is
way smaller but some ppl dont know that he he)
and yeah inking stuff is problably the best way to gain pencil work
confidence, I will keep doing em till the end of times!!
Thanks for droping around, its always a pleasure having you around!

Inkfish: well I have done more in acrilics than in oils, but
I would not say that I have done much yet some ilos here
and there, by the end of the year I should have some ilos
made for my portafolio both on oils and acrilics, by then I
hope I have my tecnique figure out at least to have a decent
creation time, Im too slow! and thanks for the props, those
two are actualy my two new favorites!

fooxoo: Thanks a lot, I enjoy ur work a lot as well! that one is
among my favorite drawings of all time!

hurricane: Hey man bro! life is good u know the usual up as downs
I might be teaching some ilustrations course at a uni in a near
by city, aside that, things are cool, Im really tring to get
focused on my goals, thanks for the inspiration seeing how
hard you work and how much you have progressed is one of the
    things that keeps me going!

robin-eleven: thanks a lot!! Im glad you like my stuff!

Ok some life drawing and observational studies,
tomorrow ill draw some monsters and knights,
today I learned how to see better, kinda

Thanks for stoping by and for the encouragment, I can always use some of that!!

Sorry Zebz!! I forgot to paste the dam thing

Apartely if you name a pic ass.jpg on photobucket the bot that
controls their images will delete the image, I guess its an anti porn
defence, so I changed the name of my pic to rearpartofawoman.jpg
the internet is ridiculous har, har, har...

Yo! I was going to tell you how much you kick ass, and then it turns out you draw ass too. That one cheek (*physically points at) looks pretty suspicious though.

    heres the link
Where? I'm really just curious where you found the refs for the kneeling guy and the one in 3/4 view with raised arms in this one, though.

Btw, your latest hand studies and that sp are awesome. Raw!

lol the fish dude is great man!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...mer/Ilosse.jpg is also one of my faves recently, very energetic figure its always cool to use the wrinkles in the clothes to describe the kinetic forces at work in dynamic poses.
id love to see a more finished pencil work or painting (altho u did post a 6 hr painting lately) but i guess ur probably too busy
how r u anyways? are u still doing freelance or are you enrolled in any courses? either way keep it up
