My computer is being evil again so I can only see half of the new stuff, but what I do see I like.
Nice color studies, nice sketches, and really nice cross hatching. Seriously, that's some purty hatching.

Wow! Yesterday's update was so beautiful, Max! Very nice! I like how your following the form with your lines and really loosening up. Your pencil skills never cease to amaze me my friend. Such loose, beautifully accurate marks. Your SB just gets better and better with age! Ha! What's your portfolio going to consist of? Just illustration or concept work? Are you going to actually come to the states? Man, I'd love to visit with ya! We could have you at our newly formed sketch group! Being around all these artist's lately make me feel like I'm actually going to be able to do this as a job! Ha! But don't worry. I definately not getting over confident. I'm scared as crap to step into the realy world! Tell me it ain't that scary! Ha! Keep up thre great work in here, man. I'm really diggin' on your stuff as usual.
BTW, I'm going to MTL so do you have any tips for me?? Being a workshop newbie and all. Thanks, Max!
I meant to do this a couple of days ago... sorry... I'm lazy. Actually, the problem with having internet at home is you can say "I'll comment in Maxetormers SB in just a little bit. I just gotta do... first." Sorry man. I have been looking and very much admiring. I'm just a slacker is all! Ha-ha!
These dynamics exercises are really great! They're really starting to look naturalistic and loose. Great job, man! Just do more of them 'kay?
I really liked this one too... Doing multiple drawings to get the right set up is a good idea. I got Alan Lees LOTR SB for Christmas this year, and I noticed that's something he does a lot of.
The figure drawings are just Awesome! I heart the way you make marks man!
Take care!
Your friend

ZebzFree: WSHP tips yeah man!! dont get to fuzzy about doing a
real neat and clean portafolio, form what I could see they are more
interested on seeing your sketch books so bring as many as you can
cause many ppl will be interested on seeing them, bring material
to work with but keep in mind that is only a week and you will be
seeing and hearing more than drawing at times, imo is better to
bring lots of your sketchs in the diferent levels of you development,
in a nutshell J Manley told me something like " I dont care if your
sketchs are drawed on a napkin and packed on a grazy macdonals
bag, if the art is good i will like it"
Thanks for the comments, I hope that b/w ilo of yours is develping nicely
na I hope one day ill go, but for that I would need money perhaps in
tow years or so ill be able to make one more oddessy to a foreing
country, Im real jealous that you get to hang out with like minded ppl
Im not really insink with most of the art scene on my city so CA is
pretty much my only real art window, Im glad yoy like my doodles,
god knows Im real inspired by yours and the amazing progress youv made
on this last few moths, just KEEP it up and have lots and LOTS of beer
(and drawing) on the workshop on my behalf, see ya later my friend!!
P. S. my portafolio will be mostly ilustration work, Im gonna focus
on one thing at a time.
kingcoyote: dude!!! hows life my friend! I would love to go sketching with you and
zeb!! to bad I live to far down the globebut one day we shall do it!!
thaks for the comments and opinions and yeah I gotta keep doing
the losse stuff to avoid getting into over rendering and loossing
spotanity, I agree on the preparation studing, its has helped me
many times, Im real jealous you got Alans Lee SBK man!! I admire him
a LOT! thanks for stoping by and I complety get the "ill coment on this
thread in a sec" felling, Im guilty as charged of doing that same
thing many times, bad, bad me.
not really my day I belive that not one thing came out right with
this doodling seccion but like coros say "they all cant be gems"

the props man they mean the a lot ot me!!! ill drop by
tomorrow on your thread.
dCepT: Thanks for the props man that one was a lot of fun,
about the "guen" well that is a freindly sur name of sorts, softer
than cabron, say more familiar, used to designate close friends,
(such a your fine person) but not all the time, it dependes on
the entonation and context.
Ok more doodles with inks and no underdrawing as usual, I gotta
learn what to draw and what to leave to the imagination of
the viewer, and ofcourse to be more accurate.

Ok Im kinda frustrated, trying to find a path in art that is mine is
proving to be dificult as hell, so one more frustrated sketch,
this one was a mixture of graphite, acrilics and water,
and some anatomy doodles (mostly from ref) for good measure.
See ya guys later!!!

Damn, that anatomy is gettin' solid. Danger.
Need more of those studies.
Great job my friend.
Hugs!
very interesting sketchbook you have here.. You definently seem more adept with pens to me. Your heads seem to be giving you a lot of trouble. To become familiar with the head it is good to do skull studies and to use construction lines. Remember that the eyes are about halfway from the top of the skull to the bottom, and the nose is about halfway between that, and the lips are about 1/3 of the way down from the nose. Make sure you know those guidelines and try to put them into practice. Obviously there are going to be variations but they still help. Perhaps try modeling a head from your imagination in three dimensions with sculpey. This will really let you know where your knowledge lies. You will be able to see your flaws more clearly. Keep on trucking, I'm loving the pen work!
rodrigo!: Thanks man, I will give that ilo a shot, i dont know how
good it will look but ill give it a shot
hurricane: THANKS man!!
Pencilator: He he, not nearly as good as they should
thanks for the props, keep doing the studies, they
are already paying off my friend!!
Mr.Blonde: Helloooo! nice to see you around here, most pleasent suprise
yeah I gotta keep the proporcions on my heads on better acount,
even tho, I discovered that beeing to anal on that area can lead to
an incredible amount of stiffness, (at least that was my reaction to
makeing to much analizis, but I do agree that I need far FAR more work
to make my faces sing, (and well all of my anatomy for that matter)
ill try to model a face from clay, super sculpy do not get to my city
but ill find a way, it sounds like a really good way to get a greap on
tridimencionality, thanks for the props on the inks, I have a lot of respect
for your work and Im really happy to have you roaming around here
from time to time, see ya and much kudos for your art!!!!
