I really enjoyed the latest batch of art. Especially the fisherman one and the color practice. I probably ought to try those too.

    No crits now!

    Hi Max!

Just wanted to drop by and skim your sketchbook...expect more vigorous critiquing in the future

    Love the ideas here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../fisherman.jpg

The oil painting's looking really good, great work on the clothes and hands especially.

This one's just freaky: http://www.renderosity.com/photos/Ar...ticle14371.jpg did you have to insert needles into your brain to think up that dude on the left?

That's all for now, I'll see you around.

enough to do a demo but will keep doing the execsices that
you did on the thread, honestly I fell that your explanations

if you have your act in order any paint prog will do the trick
I mean Prometeus uses PS 7 and so does Hurricane and their
colors are as sweet and cool as they get, (this just reminded
me how dull my palette is, shit I need to learn to do staturation
    shifts better )

Inkfish: yeah they are not as fun as doing naked wimen but
they are very usefull Im just beging to realice the importance of
    pallete planing

staylor:Cool bro, thanks for the props lets hope I keep up the
    advancement

max1975: I bet, bring it for real!!! thanks for the props
the fisherman of souls will be a 1.20 meter by 80 cm wide oil
painting, ill be the first REAL painting with two caracters and
an eviroment it gonna be fun and a real mess as well, and
yep I wear razor blades on my head, it helps the thinking
    processss.

bRØk3n_sPiRiT: Will do more for sure, Im excited cause I just got two
real big canvases to work on, and I have some cool stuff on
the easel, oils are real fun!!

rodrigo!: BRO!! hows life! Im looking forward to your SBK as well,

DAMN! That last SP is DYNOMITE! You've really captured the essence of your face in that one and the renders... just beautiful, bro. It's one of your best yet, really. I really like the last sketch of the girl in the 22nd update. The line drawing is really nice. You know I dig on those pencils and inks you dish out all the time. You're definately inspiring a kid over here in St. Louis, Missouri with that stuff! You're really coming into your own, Max. Keep at it, man!

It's also really nice to see you workin' in areas that are tough for you like in the last update. Interaction is HARD. And clothes are HARD. lol Perspective is HARD. It's never easy, is it? Heh. I see some of these guys lay down lines like they're eating Chimichangas for dinner and I'm blown away by the accuracy and beauty of the crap they produce. All in due time for us, right? We'll get there!! Take it easy, man.

ZebzFree: BRO!! hows life I hope your doing well with all that
about ya getting almost out of school and stuff, you better
keep doing those lifedrawings, dont get all over confident just
cause your about to finish KEEP PUSHING IT!!!!!!!, thanks for the
props, and yep I need to challenge my self more or I wont learn
shit, and I gotta have some sort of a decent portafolio by the end
of the year, Im very honored to read I inspire ya, god knows your
work inspires me man, thanks for the many words of ecouragment,
and maybe one day ill go to USA and we ill be able to take some
beers and skech some doodles, take care my friend!!
and HECK yeah our time will come!!

dCepT: I know mi guen, I know, dont sweat it, I know that life
get in the way, your expresion studies are looking sharper and sharper,
keep those UP and thanks for droping around, let hope that

GriNGoLoCo: Que chido que te gusto!!! thanks for the props Im
trying to push my bondaries as far as I can manage, Im glad
    you are likeing my experiments!

ArcoNL: Thanks man!!! Im glad you liked the inks

Carnifex: Good cach!! I did elongated y face a bit, but I think its manly
a beard problem, the longer my beard gets the slimmer my face looks, ç
and some times my eyes get confused as to how to draw my beard while
mantaing some sort of good size relation with the rest of my face,
mmm its kinda hard to explain writing o well ill try to keep the dam
proporcions better for the next one

Girl practice, the one on the lower right is non ref, hence the disproportion
still I kinda liked her expresion
