First off, these are very nice. My only crit would be that the figures on the ground in the first one seem very flat (like there isn't enough shadow on the forms themselves.)

I don't know if this will help, but I reworked your intro into better English. I had to guess a few times what you meant, but your ideas were clear, just the grammar was poor.

I like those covers. Your handling of texture and shapes is great. I also like the colors a lot. Hoever some of those values are a bit to dark. Especially the fire and the sky.
Do you paint with painter or with photoshop? And how do you achieve those textures?
    Post more please

beuatiful paintings and excellent composition for use in covers, I have onnly one crit, it is for the first image, the people lying on the ground do not seem to be affected by the wind that is blowing the main character's cloak around. Their hair is all still and their clothes lay perfectly flat.

    That's it cheerio.

    p.s. post more

i like them. though the values do seem a little dark (thanks for pointing this out Zaknafain ), i think you do very well with texture/environment/volor work, and show obvious method and patience to acheive such deep scenes. i, too, am interestid in seeing more. dont hesitate to post them.

damn... There seems to be an amazing natural flow in these pieces making them very pleasant to look at. I really like how you handled the clothing on the characters and the colors are just amazing. Grade A Stuff.

Very nice gesture in the stance of the first pic, although as already stated, the characters on the ground do seem flat.

I want to like your art much more than I actually do. There's something about it that feels amatuerish. It's certainly not the coloring technique. It may be the fact that you're drawing in a cartoonish style and coloring in quite a realistic style.

Yes I think that's what it is. I would love, for example, to see lots of realistic detail on swords that are close up, and the anatomies of the characters are skewed in an unnatural way I think because you're drawing them in this Anime-ish style. Also, I think there is a bit of a problem with foreshortening, especially in the second piece, as well as with staging, character balance, and perspective.

All I can say is, spend more time on your sketching, and refining because otherwise the piece just doesn't look convincing to the eye, and that's what's buggin me atm, so I can't just give you three of these...

Something is giving me a 'static' feel about the characters in the second painting. I think what's doing it is the characters' dull expressions. Especially on the grounded swordsman.
Also, a mid-air block isn't very dramatic. Wouldn't the blade poised to strike be more interesting? Or at least lower the point of the blade so it looks like he's about to stab the other guy. Right now, it looks like they could be sparring.

In the first pic, the face that both sword handles are pointing to looks like it is painted on the rock, not a 3-dimensional figure. I think it's the background swirls around it that make it appear that way.

Excellent coloring work and palette choices.

...And I want a cape like that.

I was also going to comment on the lack of emotion on all of your subjects. I think it makes them look "bad-ass", but it also makes me feel that they are not struggling in the fight. It gives a bit of the impression that they just dont care.

Also, I didnt read the fighting one as a mid air block, I read it as a dodge and soon to be jumpkick to the face.
