For the Mechanics, taking risks everytime they have to step outside and fix another tear in the outer skin, space isn't as empty as they would like it to be.
This individual is using a TCo.43a Welder, and is equipped with a NGI-2 suit, equipped with cold lights and a power pack for the TCo.
    painter, 45 I reckon

    Thumbs up Sweet job guys

mackZero - That's one of my favorites of your of all time. I think in large part due to the fact that the colors work so well together.
Hamsta - I really like how your getting your drawings tighter lately. The one you did today is tough as nails for 45min especially. The composition is great, the colors are really working and the stars in the background are an excelent touch. There is alot there that is hard to make out like the feet and hands but by making the helmet as focal points it still works.

i see machzero is using a lot more color these days. great to see. I think your peice is interesting but hard to make out at certain times.

Hamsta You have improved greatly. I knew you would it just takes time and practice and you deserve much respect for making the effort. I find it hard to tell exactly what is going on here but I get the idea none the less.

I might start doing the DSG again soon , now that it isnt cancelled

Very nice work, Hamsta. Forgot to say - sorry

really like the way you "paint with light". Something similar I tried, but it ended up being most about the welding effect in front of the astronaut. Not very happy at all with mine. But then again, my Vacom being unavailable at the moment, might be a major contribution to that

Especially like the sky in your piece. Truly nice "spacy" feeling. Also the simplistic reflecting metal looks really nice, giving a good idea of texture and feeling. Truly a good job.

Also like Homeworld´s contribution alot. Also lands on my hard drive as inspiration - both emotionally and as a technical piece. It´s quite simple in it´s style, but quite descriptive. Like that. I myself really should learn to work on freehand more and not to rely on all to "exact" tools. Although computers might be more or less exact, art does surely does not have to be (or is it indeed at all?)

Thanks for posting, anyways! On to the next one!m

Sorry I dont have time to do any art at the moment but i thought you might not mind my thoughts hamsta. Considering the dsg almost died you need to give people time to discover its usefullness again.

futureprobe Are you ready for something beyond asspats?

I think your off to a good start, but I feel as if this pic lacks soul, mostly due to the way you rendered the skin of the ship, looking like something out of a PS tutorial.
Not sure what's going on with the guy's left hand.
Your fire effect is interesting, looking like some sort of flammable gel, but why is it directed there? dosen't look like anythings wrong with that panel, and doesn't look like a good entry point, if he's trying to breach the hull.

Hmm... some of these crits could apply to me

    Thanks for your comments Hamsta!

I though about that to. The PS tutorial feeling partly comes from the fact that I am currently working without my Wacom (don´t have it with me) but surely I need practice. Very basic stuff in general - worked with masks and so in in PS simply. Too crude to produce real art, clearly. But just could not let it be

About what he is fixing ... also realized that I forgot to give the astronaut something to work on. To concerned about the fire effect ... To much play and to little thinking.

I really hope I will improve
