Nice man those are good... good job on the hair. Can't wait to see it finished.
Great job! Hair is such a b*tch to sculpt. It's an ambitious project to attempt a beard. Is this someone you know? Let's see more.
Quanz - the top image is the finished resin cast.
Crossbones - This isn't anyone I know. I've never sculted an older gent before so I got some various reference images of old guys and gave it a shot.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Hey mate,
Woah, you used wax huh? That's something I've never tried using before.. is it nice to work with? I'm very impressed with it, the textures, form and anatomy is spot on. Can't wait to see more from you!!
as always,awesome work man.
what size is it?
It's better to be remembered as the sand in the gears and not as the oil.![]()
DreamersEye - Thanks man. Azbro Wax is a good finishing material. Most sculptors rough out their sculpts in a softer clay or heat cure polymer. Then they make a mold of the rough and pour a wax and tool and detail it. It can be a bit costly (double molding) to do but the end result is worth it in some cases.
6thSun - That headsculpt is just under 2 inches - 1/6th scale. The bulk of the work I get is this scale and smaller.
