Jokisalo: thx a lot. I like your art a lot btw.
    dadamafia: thanks
BAKI: you are right. I have to do more original work. I'm pretty slow with that. But new work is on the way. Thanks for the comment.

Some crap (where did the good days go?):
15 minutes study. Why didn't anyone tell me how fun it is to draw fat people?

    and mood/color studies:

    First try:

    Second try:

Sorry for crappy update. Worked a lot with oils and pencils and without a scanner, well...

My ftp programm killed the first picture. Damn it!
Here's another study (5minutes) figuring out how to do cityscapes in painter in a small amount of time.

As I said.. like those colorstudies.. although the second and third one are kind of a mistery to me.. That cityscape experiment is interesting too i think you should have some value difference in the tiny gaps between the windows though.. In my opinion they seem too solid.. tooo.. black.. I dunno. keeps it up!

Krakel: yes... you are right, the values are wrong. it was basically trying out new techniques. And this ones so fast, I forgot about that.
    GunTrouver: More nudes to come
    untitled user: thx
Azrael: Thanks. Colors are really important. Can't practice them enough.
Calle: I actually have a non digital sketchbook but no scanner sadly. Thanks a lot, you don't know how motivating it is reading your comment.

    Crappy update:

Thx for the replys. You keep me motivated.

Oh well... Today is the worst day for a month.
    School keeps eating my soul.

    Some Crap:

The last one is a mood study. I'm currently fascinated by the urban "alone in the streets at night" mood. It's a strange feeling because it's neither negative nor positive but can still be really intense.
Well I will need to work even more on creating this feeling.

Working on dynamic compositions and on more "greenish" palettes. I still don't know what to do with real green palettes.
Weekend is coming. Hopefully I will increase the quality of this sketchbook the next days.

I like the mood studies and your paintings... some of the mood pictures give certian feelings. I really like the urban one with the light reflecting in the water. It's almost like a street light but moving and it reminds me of good times in big cities.

I really like all this. I can't say for sure because I don't know you, heh, but you appear to be very good at producing specific feelings with your work. That's a very good thing. Being good at drawing is one thing, but knowingly evoking emotions in your audience is the sign of a master.

your female drawings need a tiny bit more flesh on the buttcheeks.. currently they look to me like they have too much flesh on the pelvic bulge (not enough shadows there, i think?) anyways, keep posting, you got good stuff here

The abstract color studies are really nifty-
it'd be nice to see one developed into a full illustration.
Keep up the life drawing and do some more technical anatomy studies- your photo ref figures lack structure and confidence.

Hey... Nice to see some more abstract artists here at CA. I really enjoy your color thumbs... I'd like to see them expanded into full pieces... but it would be really hard to keep the spontanaety and the simplistic quality you have on a larger scale... I suggest that you try it though, some of that stuff could go for good money at galleries if you marketed yourself well...

krakel: Thanks. It's pretty small. A5. The lifedrawing took me 4 minutes. I have more of them I will scan them soon.

artkitty: thanks a lot for your crit. I like your sketchbook a lot and because of this I got inspired and started with some more "technical" studies. The first one is below.

Mr.Blonde: I hope that someday I will be able to finish abstracts the way you do it. Thanks for your comment.

Matt: You are right. It is alien inspired.

    Now some more art:
I did some hogarth studies (loomis is next). Heres the first one:

    funny lines:
