    Some Canadian kid's sketchbook

You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, some high school kid's sketchbook!

So yeah, I'm a sixteen year old high school senior living in Toronto, who, like so many other people, have been suffering from a lack of motivation. I hope to update this sketchbook weekly in order to get me off my butt and to actualy start drawing more and possibly get some input on how I can improve. Sorry if some of the scans are weird, I think my scanner hates me.

    Just some doodles

More doodles, fun in math class!

The King of the One Liner: Groucho!

    Some muscle man

    Skelly bones

Some kendo guys duking it out

Well that's it for now, go easy on me!

looks like your doing quite well actually, like you dont seem to be stuck drawing just the one thing in the one style. so thumbs up there

maybe consider being more sisitive to what your drawing, like.. say groucho, maybe its just stylistic, but youve used the same mark all over for him. fabic is different to say skin, or hair, so the linework should vary slightly to show sensitivy to each texture and the qualities of density.

Hello fellow canadien, i welcome you!

For a kid ( just kidding ,two yrs older so I shouldn't talk )
it's not half bad but I agree with dire-musaera your linework should have more texture --> to get that use various shades/ paper stump will help ALOT
    That's a must...

Anyhow, looking forward to seeing other stuff!!

Just some doodles. I REALLY love bagels.

Trying to learn facial proportion, some faces of a couple classmates. Some better than others.

This is just weird. Please excuse the writing.

Another robot, this time the Shake-Spear 5000.

WIP, digital painting of Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean)

    Detail shot.

    Well, what do ya think?

Well, now that I'm seventeen, my New Years Resolution is to draw more! So although it's been a bit more than a month, here I go again!

    Boba Fett

    Doodles featuring Checkerboard Nightmare

    Moai statues

    Doodles of cartoon Napoleon

    Cartoon self-portaits

Another, this time with a crappy Luigi next to it

    A rolled up paint tube

More messing around with the tube

Well that's it for now. Stay tuned for more study-like things for next week!
