    horse of troy

Hi again after a long time. I have a lot of work to do on these days. I'm working for a book about war in gallipoli in ww1. There are a lot of scenes for illustrate. I'm going to show u some works about it soon. You know this horse?. It's from troy film that directed by wolfgang petersen. They gave it as a gift to Çannakkale municipality. Çannakkale is my city so I can see it whenever I want.
I hope u like it . I used painter for it. See u.

the horse does look good, but the cropping is a little wierd, I kinda want to see the whole horse, and maybe some little men on it or something. but the whole horse would be nice to see. great job on the rendering!

I'd like to see more of the horse too. The detail and texture on the horse looks great.

i dont think so. its a giant wooden horse! a horse is a horse of course of course!

anyways, i think you should show more of it. just the head shot is just a big tease.

    I could be wrong too.
Mert said that it IS the horse from the movie, and that the real thing is in his city. So I would assume he did this pic from the actual horse in his town.

LOL is that one of the ancient 7 wonders of the world ? Just teasing

mert_yavasca: I think the horse looks nice but could use some drama. A different angle to the horse and sky treatment perhaps ? If you're content with this kind of still composition, I,d suggest getting bolder with the clouds. Play with how the eye travels on your composition and, as usual, get references.

NO, the Trojan horse was never considered one of the world's 7 ancient wonders. It seems to me you should read up on your mythology before making comments like that.

Are you serious? You seem a little high-strung man, I mean he was just playing around.

I thought the horse in that movie was great. It was the roundness and the way it was supposed to look like it had been out of materials scrounged from their ships. You did a very nice rendering, but I agree with it being an odd cropping. I would really enjoy having that thing around to sketch, that is really cool.
