After 9 months of unemployment, easily one of the most stressful times of my adult life so far, my wife and I are going to be moving up to outside of Boston for my new job as an Environment Artist at 38 Studios! I met, what I assume to be the entire art team during the onsite interview and was really blown away by the work they're doing. One reason this job was practically made for me is that the environment team doesn't have a dedicated concept artist, but everyone is a very good painter in their own right, so they all split the duties, and generally do their own concept art. I'm so happy my eyeballs might pop out...of course now there's the move and all that to organize...
Got tired of clearing out one of the rooms yesterday and painted this guy in about 3 hours.
