hehe i kinda like this board. i´m checking it for some weeks now and i feel that compared to the 498373475 other boards out there u got a nice balance between quality and quantity here.

ok now about me :evilbat:

i´m really interested in art and design since i´m somewhat in control of my brain.
now the big problem is that my head is bursting of images that i´m not able to recreate on paper, that is really discouraging, but i didn´t completely give up (tho i lost a shitload of years due to zero motivation)

well i´m studying design and lately (like 2 weeks before they closed the door for summer vacation lol) i started to attend a private art academy aswell.
concept art and illustratios are what i dream of beeing able to pull oneday - and i thought maybe participating at this place will be additional motivation, input and kicks

during the last 12 moth i was doin a lot or cg work examples but i came to the point of realizing that 'instant-art' is fun but not 100% what i want.

now here´s a couple of things i drew:











(mostly done with drawings as reference xept for that still)
well i must say that i hate posting these in the public but how can i recieve help when none ever has seen where i am ?!

well i hope u´ll see better things from me soon and to get some feedback

hey dan, welcome aboard, you replied in mines, least i can do is the same for you.

this board just keeps on getting some great talent.

i will say you capture form really well, and you have some beautiful crosshatching, something i haven't quite harnessed yet. maybe you can give me a pointer

i need to post more of my work on here to give everyone an idea and get some feedback, but need a scanner, lol

anyway, keep up the sketches and work. you have a good eye on detail, just keep pushing man

well to shade things all ican say is start with a group of lines following the form and then to increase the darkness at some areas make them cross the first lol. there are a lot of approaches u can make them in a 90 degree angle or since every form exists in a 3hree dimensional context there are other possibilities to make them foollow the same form...
but since i´m no master other ppl here could surely help u more...
