Hello, Shyam! Thank you so much for the link to your sketches on CGTALK Sketchathon. I looked and looked and your and other people wonderful motion studies and got so excited. I want to do this too. That's my most admirable stuff, figure in motion. and I just was so amazed to see those caught on paper running, flying, falling from above, dancing, catching a ball, hoping, bending. And for such a short time. I felt so great being there. Sometimes I felt a pleasantly shocked how real and expressive it looked, and felt all the emotions I would've felt if it was me falling from the sky or bending in circle in gymnastics. Great assignment and and great artwork there. Thank you so much, yours are ones of the best there.

Thank you for posting your photos, I would like to try to draw you. Very good similarity with your own SP.

And in the last portrait the expression of the woman face is wonderful, so fine, so rare. Those squinted eyes grab my attention right away.
If you want to hear some crits I cant add, that depicting some human imperfections, defects, irregularities make a portrait more interesting, breathing, shows a soul of depicted.
That's not my words, van (an artist from this forum said this, I totally agree). And as I often repeat, in my opinion, broken lines, dots, noise, textures add a huge emotion to the image. The portrait of that fat kid was wonderful because of these little details, above all other things. And I agree with SirGreenSock comment, that sometimes your figures don't look dynamic because your lines are slow and calculated. But in links from the above I chose the ones that are great in a catching motion and very smooth. I saved them, thank you very much,
    Sveta

Nice portrait, it was good to see how you construct the face.
Only thing that stands out to me is her left shoulder seems wider than the right and seems to droop down pretty low. Havent seen the reference, but this area seems out of place to me.

that portrait is really good from what I can see. On my place on the learning curve, I still find it really hard to draw very well from picture reference. The drawing always come out flat looking. Yours has got some volume. It could pass as from being from life. Good going!!!

    G´day!

You have a really good sketchbook here. I am enjoying the hand studies tremendeously! You have a good touch to your linework and all your sketches look really fluent. Natural I would say. They are pleasing to look at.

On the other hand, your vectors always seem to lack that looseness. They are not half as good as your more traditional looking pieces, in my opinion. If I am allowed to suggest something I think you should do your illustration jobs traditionally from now on!!! For example the calendar things (with the girl and flying pages etc) are really heartwarming and beautiful. And the woman on the last one also (she looks hot otherwise too ).

I will sit here and wait for more updates. Cheers!!!
