    OK, these look good.
About the shading, the good point is that you're not afraid of shaping the guy.
Now, try to make the shading more smooth. Dont hesitate on doing one really dark area, then from (on) that area, make the brighter layer over then go progessively to the highlighted zone.
I hope you understand what i just wrote...i gotta stop wine
    Keep it up!

    Not that bad...

I would still recommend that you work on you anatomy a bit more, some of your drawings seem to have some problems with the ankles and wrists. I would also recommend that you don't pencil in everything, just like in some of your colored drawings and paintings, the highlights make a big... BIG difference. However for someone younger than I, I must say that you have great potencial to being a great artist.

Now for some life-studies, i really needed this, i think i will fall into a life drawing period now.

Recursive_End : Thank you as always for your kind comments!
About more soft shading, i dont want to make it to soft, then im afraid it will all blend to much and it will become boring, but i should try!
About starting with dark areas and going light, thats pretty hard on paper, i dont want to do it all with a ereaser.

The Crazy Dude SRD : Im starting to do more anatomy studies now so i hope i can fix the anatomy problems better. Thank you very much for your uplifitng inspiring words, it really motivates.

Whew! Back from Shanghai, man what a trip, amazing city with amazing people.
Didnt get to do any drawing there.
But once i came home ive been trying to draw purely digital using different methods using referens with no luck. Since i need to use more combined traditional and pencil art, but i would like to go purely digital. Atleast i did a portrait of a cool little kid my dad photographed in Shanghai.

Pencilator : Thanks man, and a safe and enyoyable trip i had
ill some spit out some more enviros!

Here's a concept sketch which popped into my head when i was reading a book.
So i painted the scene as i saw it in my mind.
It's a scene from "Grass for His Pillow (Tales of the Otori, Book 2)" where a couple of people travelling gets attacked by thieves.
Not much small details, the overall mood is the point.

-ThePenciler-: Thanks man!, though the paintings were given much more time than the two pencilled works.

    Hey lazy !
Long time no see! Good work going on. You seem to work more on your colors. Good good good, the overall pic is nice and coherent.
The armor study is looking very good, the highlights are well done.
Keep working on your anatomy though. And i don't really see what's happening in the #140 pic.
    Keep it up man !!

    "In the latest news!
Two officers seized a trailer and found a young woman balancing her two parents decapitated heads one one arm and holding her baby-sister in the other arm, alive. She was shot two times in her chest due to her hostile stance towards the baby and slowly after she died the baby was brought to safety. The girl had bruises and marks on her body, but never said a single word during the the shooting."

Trying to balance my portfolio out that i am building at the moment, so now its something sicker and darker than "Droids Over Board"

Recursive_End : Thanks as always for your wonderful crits, yeah "Flite" is kinda dark but i think its to dark on some screens and mediocre at some, so thats a lesson i learned, will do anatomy soon, thanks as always.

Hey, Lazy! The improvement on your anatomy studies earlier on this page just blew me away. Those are some awesome torsos. Keep it up, and use reference!
    Other things that impressed me:
The hand studies on the first page were well done, as were your many environments. I like that you did a page of rock studies. Rocks are surprisingly difficult to draw, with all their edges and planes. Your clothes studies are looking good, too. That's something I need to work on as well.
I like the irony in your robots picture, but I think the pencil rendering was more successful than the colored version. Everything is basically the same value, and almost all the colors are warm. My advice would be to cool down and maybe lessen the intensity of the colors of the surroundings while really brightening up the colors of the droids.
Great sketchbook! I hope to see more soon.

Whoa getting really rusty on figure drawing, so this is a quick study with reference, 30-40 minutes.

Moai :Thank you very much! I will keep it in mind with the colors.

hey lazy, i see your not being lazy at all ^_^
sweet sb thread you have here... i see your working very hard.
my only thing i can say is that the nose is a little misaligned and the ear is too high up..watch those porportions. The ear is on the same line as the eye level and nose level.
I kinda wished you drew out the feet for this post..
other than that..the shading is totally sweet

New one, still keeping it to once a day, will do a total of seven i think, then i can continuye with an original illustration. Used another pencil on this one.

White Rose : Thank you very much! Thanks i like to hear that i work hard but i dont think i work hard enough. Used photo-ref for the last life sketches so the anatomy cant be too far of, yeah i should have finished the feet.

[B]Jho[B] : Thanks man! Glad you like them, yeah i keep battling my lazyness.
