Nice ink work the first two are digital right? The last one is laking planning. the line work on the wall is not helping it. It needs to be more controlled and there is noting that would suggest the corner of the room that should be behind the character.

You have some very nice and loose sketches posted here. Keep at it and develop your skills, the talent is there.

The studies are really well done! It's seeming like your grasp on the human figure is coming along very well! I'd love to see you play some more with color!

Great loose stuff, love your more cartoony stuff too. Keep going with the self portraits, they look great and are good practice. I agree with Crowpsey who agrees with Interceptor, more color! And I don't mean the little whimpy monocromatic spashes you have here(which are nice btw) , I mean color color

I love egyptian stuff The middle pice the beasty on the bottom looks unclear for a concept sketch but the rest are looking good. I'd like to see how you're going to handle the legs on these.

The Egyptian guard looks nice from the front view but the profile face is hurting. The helm may need to be pushed back a bit on the head. Also the helmets don't seem to match in composition as they go from front view to profile. Are they two different takes or the same.

    nicely batch of concept stuff.

Great start to your sketch book. Good mix of subjects and styles.
The ink on coloured paper pages are my favourite (in general). Some of the pics of the facial expressions are great.

    Keep updating.

Nice environment sketches, you have done a good job tying all these things into a singular style for the game you are working on, I can easliy see all of this stuff in the same universe. I like the weird flat weapon for the big guy, but I agree with ben, his head looks like it might need something more in the back, maybe extend the helmet, just a thought. That's so rad that you get to make games at your school, what school are you attending?

You have such a great foundation of lighting in your basic sketches, especially your environment ones.

I love the Egyptian sketches, especially the goaty guy. Are they to just have human legs if you flesh them out?

Ben: Yeah, the side view helmet needs work, I agree. I need to get around to that soon.

Dan: Thanks. I'm going to DigiPen up in WA. It's one of the original game schools.

Wertle: Hmm, tough call. I was originally thinking goat legs, but if they have human bodies it would probably stick to the Egyptian thing better.

Thanks all. Anyways, here's this week's dump. Mostly jus some last minute leftovers from the concept art.

and I colored one of my previous sketches for shits and giggles

Nice sketches on that second page. The logo thumb looks good I'd like to see it when you take it to illustrator. on the werewolf watch your placement of hands. The hand down near it's crotch looks obscene Good lighting on it. I'm going to guess that you had two light sources in mind. Try and go darker on the shadows and a little lighter on the midtones. It may make him standout a little more.

I dunno about a billion. I actually try not to think about it too much, it usually jus depresses me :|
I know it's cheaper than Art Center and the such tho.

Anyways, I haven't had much time to be creative lately I'm afraid, so these are more or less scraps. as always, thanks for the feedback.

The facial expression on the horse is wonderful. I admire your ability to stylize and still keep such a solid, believable structure to your characters.

Anyway, you have excellent figure work and good environments, I would be curious to see more works with the figures interacting with said environments.

Ok first of I like the look of the pen on the color paper. Keeping working on that exercise form the first sketch in the last batch. I find it to be very difficult to represent the same figure in the same pose from two different view points when drawing off the top of my head. the back studies look sharp on the last one.

    Keep it up

As far as paying out your ears for an education. You better squeeze the teachers for all of the knowledge that they can pass on. don't just float through and waste money. Buckle down and get your moneys worth out of school.
