This is a finished closeup of the Gambit sculpture I completed a few months ago. I just finished a runaway stagecoach and a Moby Dick sculpture. Check out www.bluecodestudios.com for more of my work.

Looks cool, lots of detail. What stuff is used to sculpt? Some kind of plasticine?
The sculptures that are this color are all done in a non-sulfinated plasticene. I buy it from a company called Monster Makers (www.monstermakers.com) out of Cleveland, Ohio. They supposedly make it themselves and sell it in 5 pound increments. It has a higher wax concentrate than other non-sulfinated plasticenes I've used. Its a friendly company, but I always seem to have shipping problems (items lost in shipping, stuff arriving extremely late, etc). Its a "mom and pop" kinda place.
I also just bought a heat gun and am experimenting just how far I can push Super Sculpey. I figure between the heat gun and my Dremel, my final result will be a lot crisper. I'll try to get those pics up ASAP.
