Spawn, the angry boy & spawn th doggy style

    photoshop 7 wacom intuos 3 ,
I would like to draw an insane spawn, with a hook.
I think he looks like a farmer with that hook other than a pirate

    c&c welcome.

I'm a huge fan of the cover-artwork on the Spawn-comics and this is so totally different. Really refreshing.

I don't think you should anything about your Spawn, but if you want a more wicked, insane Spawn, maybe you should lose the somewhat childish look? (which I think is the strength of the pictures)

The sky on the first one is superb, a sky I have been longing to draw as well. His 'cape' is stuck behind one of the clouds though. Don't know if that was on purpose, but I think it's a little flaw in a great work.

More of these, try losing the Spawn as well and create your own character (based on Spawn, if you want) Might be interesting.

The scribbly style and cartoony touches are great! The character just doesn't feel much like Spawn to me. Maybe it's the colors you chose for him. Chains could add to the look also.

The first one is very refreshing in style. The composition is clear and it reads very well. I like it quite a bit.

The second is abit more scratchy and messy and doesn't read as well I think, which is why the first one is more adorable.

    Post more!

good work man but..the eyes need to eb green to give the familiar spawn look..the rest is pretty cool and different, althou there is only a hint at Spawn's body armour(or symbiote teeth) keep it up
