Why are there T Dome stickys in the finished section?

I thought the point of the T Dome section was to keep all that stuff in there. If they wanted to bring attention to it why not just make one sticky linking to that section?

it sure seemed like a good idea at the time. but im pretty sure all protocol here at CA if followed to the strictest of measures. i dont how this fuck up happened.

Trust me I'm not trying to be an ass here...but Why not let the guys and gals have their day in the sun? They all put in badass hours on their pieces, so don't they deserve that much? I mean is it harming anything?

Those threads combined had around 144 original pieces of art in them. This was a member run contest, I'm not an administrator. All of these people worked their asses of producing some amazing work.. if those threads don't deserve exposure, I don't know what does.

I'm not saying not to give them exposure. I'm just saying why have 5 or 6 sticky for it when you only need one. Have the other stickys in the Tdome and just link to it there if you want exposure. It just clutters the screen otherwise.

No big deal.. it worked out to have them on the finished page for acouple days and then moved to the "thunderdome" forum.

Personally, I'd be more inclined to giving each one their own thread.

I'll talk with Mike Corriero to see what we can do differently to avoid getting people's panties in a bunch. Each round will have half as much art as the round before, so it wouldn't take up as much space as before. Either way you get to see a shitload of new art... the positives outweigh the negatives IMO.

For me.. i came to the finally finished section and thought "uhh.. what is Tdome, and why did it eat this forum?"

After reading some of the threads i will most definitely check out future competitions and get involved. It looks pretty damned cool. However, i do think 1 sticky with all the links to the threads would have been good enough, personally.

The next round will have 3, then after that I think I can fit them all into one thread. I think these finished threads are deserving of the exposure they had, and it only lasts a few days before they are moved to the Thunderdome section. There's a huge and talented chunk of the community participating in this event, and I feel we can only benefit from such a huge bombardment of great work.

Whatever is fine with me though, we'll carry on however the admins wish.
