T-DOME: Last Man Standing Round One (Matches 13-24)

Here it is, you talented bastards. The time for you to see all your hard work matched up against your random opponents for the first time. Only one person from each match makes it to round two. To everyone who participated, thanks for helping make this dome a memorable one. To everyone who missed the boat this time around , you're still in for a hell of a ride.

Entries are listed in the order the match is listed (ie. Dude1 vs Dude2: Dude1 will be first image listed, Dude2 the second. Amazing!)

    Match 13 - Dougbot vs Young_Paddy1

Match 14 – staylor vs pickleyum

    Match 15 - Red_Rook vs TRUZART

Match 16 – thirdeye vs Jack Frost

    Entry not submitted

Match 17 – smartkyle vs Shadoman

Match 18 – uziel vs Fipse

Match 19 – blankslatejoe vs Pseudo

    Match 20 - bRØk3n_sPiRiT vs jontis

    Match 21 - koroshiya001 vs willow-whisp

Long ago, the Afar tribe of Africa faced a time of great famine, forcing its starving people to wander the lands endlessly in search of food. It is in these desperate times that the King of the Afar, in the interest of preserving the lives of his three young sons, left his only daughter in the sahara to starve - or better yet, appease the countless predators who stalked his people.

The young princess, only a child of 11, was quickly consumed by the legendary Luecrocutas: hyena-like wild dogs with rigid backbones, toothless mouths and stomachs lined with teeth... used to devour their intact, living prey.

The princess was swallowed whole by the alpha female of the Leucrocuta pack, but in the earliest stage of digestion, the child's fear and hatred for her father's act of selfishness and cruelty prevented her from reaching the next life... as the alpha female regurgitated the princess to her pups, what emerged was a twisted, wretched creature who had taken on many qualities of the Leucrocutas themselves.

The princess was left to roam with her new tribe and was of great use to them; she gave them the use of her voice, which is why Leucrocutas are known to mimic the sound of crying children to lure unwitting people out into the sahara at night. One by one, the princess and the Leucrocutas lured and devoured the remaining members of her human tribe, although it is said she still roams to this day, seeking to quench her eternal hatred with human flesh.

Match 22 – Sapphire vs StrangeAlchemist

    Match 23 – nicolas vs 0kelvin

Match 24 – Chimera vs Dan Milligan

Willow-whisp: Wow, you just keep getting better and better! Fantastic character! Oh man, now I wish I'd thought to include a description.

nicolas: I have no problem whatsoever being beaten by that piece. Great work!

Mine came out looking far smaller than I expected it to. Is there a way I could resubmit it as a larger file size? You can barely see it.

Nicolas and Dougbot's are my favourites in this thread and of all the pieces submitted. I'm a bit dissapointed by Dan Milligan's piece - not that it's not great - just that I expected so much more from such pro as Mr. Milligan.
