    Finished version:)

Here's the finished version, colored with Photoshop.
The coloration took some hours, much more time than the scribble.
It was my second "professional" Computer coloration (before i did only junks and crap ) I don't have a GT so it was sometimes difficult to work with the mouse-_-°
Maybe it the picture remembers u at "The giant from space" (don't relly know the english titleXD), but I had no ref., it's just a coincidence...

Not bad stuff, I especially like the Napoleonic guy (for lack of a better description) and the animal farm.

Overall I do like you style, but it seems unpolished. You still have errors in your work which tip the viewer off to that fact. For example, the roughness of the clown's hair, the sloppy shoulders and oddly twisted arm of the robot, and the general roughness in the linework on the last pics. These are things that I immediately saw. I can see what you are aiming for, but you haven't refined your abilities enough on the technical side to pull it off just yet. If you want an example of someone who has, look at "Manu is malin" from these forums. His work is very, very distorted and crazy (cool, that is), but his technical abilities don't let the viewer question whether he really meant to do it that way or not. Everything is so tight and well done that no matter how messed up it is, there is no doubt as to what it was supposed to be.

To get to his level, there isn't much to do aside from "draw, draw, draw" so get to it. Hope to see some more cool stuff from you soon.

    Cow new stuff

Thank u for critic dfacto^^ I try to become better every day and try to "draw, draw draw". I think it's difficult to compare difficult styles, because everyones art is so different... So "Manus is milian" is more "abstract" I think, but I'll upload some abstract pictures in the next days I think.
But now, here r the new ones

This one I did for a manga, I've never finished colored with aquarell and acrylic colors. There are some mistakes I think, but I did tha very fast, because it was only a very small Background in a panel. It's a bad scan I think...-_-

This is a panel of a manga I'm working in the moment, it's a "remake" of an older manga from me. You can read the oldone here: http://animexx.4players.de/doujinshi...6/output/5777/

This was the first sketch for a cover of a comic I'll start with a friend next time

I really like your drawings and colouring work but there's some things I think I could be able to criticise (despite my rookieness)... Firstly, It seems that you use short, repetitive strokes in your pencil sketches so you could try drawing more confident lines. I had the same habit but it disappeared along a few centimeters of pencil when I started putting serious thought on it. Also, you could polish your anatomy skills, with the help of some Loomis' books perhaps (www.saveloomis.org)... the breasts of the lion head dude for example seem pretty far from the form they should be.

Just some nitpicking that I thought could perhaps be helpful. I admire the effort you're putting on learning to draw (I would never have the patience for drawing something like http://mitglied.lycos.de/crow/onlyafriend%20ca.jpg ).

These look really nice and you've got a great imagination, but i have to agree about your lines. Try varying the line width on your sketches and it'll add a lot. At the moment the look kind of brittle.

The last sketch is really nice though. You going to colour it??

    Sketchbook sketches

    Wow unbelievable- 4 nex commentsXD

@smuli: Thank you for the critic. I know my lines are a bit unconfidetn, that's a bad habit-_- I'll try to change that and I also will start to do more anatomy stuff. I've got allready an anatomy book, I think I should use it more often and I'll buy some nex ones....

@mull77: I'm not shure if I'll colour this gummibear sketch, because I don't like Sunny in the foreground and if I wanted to colour it I would have to redraw it...and I'm very lazyXD Maybe in my next holidays....

    @maestro_612: No problem

    @JedSmith520: O_o?

Here r the new ones, most of them are from my sketchbook:

    Coloured with aquarell:

    some very quick charakter designs

This is a "fanart" of alice adventures in wonderland. It's the jabberworky I love the book and this Jabberworky poem

Thankl u all for the comments! CU

    Mumins and Baroque

May be I#ll post some more pictures later, but first I want to post the following ones:

Maybe some of you know the Mumins, it's a TV animation series for children: I love to watch ist and I wanted to make a Fanart, but I thought it would be cool to make an "Adultversion"
I'll upload the colored version next time...

As ref I used some screenshots from the series.

This one isn't very good, but I like it. I used ref from an old baroque painting
(It's only a very fast sketch...)

First the colored version of the "Mumins" Outlines

This one I did for a mangastory about "Little red riding hood". I "transformed it in an horrorversion, but it's not yet finished:

This is colored with aquarell colours:

Than I worked it out with PS:

I really enjoyed the remake of the mumins. Loved those when I was a kid.

    Keep it going!
