Yo van! Cool images dude. I like how that thing is not quite a camel upon further inspection.

Glad you're keeping up the drawing

Thanks, steak. I have pretty much been locked in my house for months just painting and drawing.

I'm always impressed with people who take the time to do full-on pencil rendering like this - I jut keep wanting to grab a WACOM...

Couple of crits that stand out, though:

Is it the scanner, or the original artwork that's this 'grey'? It's like you've done the darks and the midtones, and left out the highlights - some carefully places dabs of pure white could really 'lift' these, like on the bird's eye, and some specular highlights on the feathers, that kind of thing.

There's also some wierdness with your legs - the front right leg on your 'camel' looks like it finishes at the 'knee' (though I guess it's actually the ankle on a camel). And your bird looks like it's got it's legs on 'backwards' - it's looks like we're looking at the back of the bird, but the front of the legs.

Actually, looking closely, the guy riding the camel doesn't have any legs at all. Have you got some kind of vendetta against legs?

    Thanks for posting

    Take care

    AJ
