So unless you want them to pose at the same time (now that I think about, that would be interesting too) or have already made out the times with them, it would be great if you could manage it that way.
Oh, and from the nature museum/japanese tower/atomium I would deinitely pick the nature museum!

I thought of splitting the session in a 2hr/lunchtime/2hr/break/2hr schedule. After all, i don't think we'll be sleeping early on friday night (nor saturday for that matter), and might wanna take a gentle start with breakfast and maybe some warmup doodles. Or Twister!![]()
Both models will be posing at the same time btw. Since the living room isn't *that* big, i figured we can arrange for two islands to pose, with some surrounding space for the artists. also, if one model is doing a longer pose, and you're done, you can easily switch to the other.
Since we're saving the expense of an atelier somewhere to be rented, and we have such large group this time, the model fees will be cheap, per person.
Also, a little birdie told me that it's perfectly do-able to combine the atomium/japanese tower AND the nature museum in one afternoon. I suggest going to the military museum in the morning, since that's another part of the city - and we could go "home" for lunch - again way cheaper than finding a restaurant or even burgers. And probably healthier too![]()
Could everyone post/pm their means of transport and estimated time or arrival please? ktnxbye
Train, and i'll try to be at Brussel North around 18:00.
As i already told hyver in PM, im not gonna be able to attend this time. Unexpected costs forced me to cancel my tickets.. So you guys behave without me now! (or misbehave.)
For those of you who are coming to prague, ill see you there instead!
Cheers.

My train will arrive in Brusseles Nord at 15:47 on Friday.
How about both models doing the same pose, somehow interacting with each other, like one carriing the other piggiback? (of course as a 45-minute-pose). Okay, they don't have to do that, but you get what I mean.
Me, Floris & ThrillZilla will be coming by car. Dunno the time but I guess around 18:00 or something? maybe a bit earlyer.. (or later)

Kartoffel and Bylo - if you two are planning on getting up this early at the workshop, feel free to do the dishes :p (looking at your post times here)
Concerning the models interacting - i'll have to talk to them about that.. it's one thing standing nekkid in front of a crowd full of happy young men (and women), but it's another thing having their skin touching each other.. even in a non-sexual kinda way (although i must admit the piggyback ride you suggested could be quite arrousing
)
i take it you get my point...
No problem. If I can help you, just tell me what to to.Originally Posted by Hyver
Yeah, I see what you mean. How about having them clothed while doing that. Like I know you guys, someone will ask for some drapery-studies anyway, sooner or laterOriginally Posted by Hyver

If we have two models, is it possible for one to do a long pose? I know the models need to get breaks, but it should be possible to take the same position again afterwards. For me it would be more interesting. It would also be possible to draw the same pose from several angles.
Also, who plans on staying longer? I need to know so i can plan my drive back. If things work out i'll arrive with Fipse, but i'd like to stay until tuesday or maybe wednesday. I need to know so i can buy a trainticket. It'd be great if that was possible.
I can't wait to get there and draw until my hands fall off!
I'll stay until tuesday around noon
don't forget your sleeping bag jens![]()
I'll be bringing my Snoecks books (photo's and art, pretty combination).
One question though:
Can we visit "manneke pis"? If we're gonna sketch that, we got anatomy and a nice bronze shading practice all at once. And I always wanted to see it.
(For the people who have never hear of the little guy:
Manneke Pis)

No.
Really, no.
So, i think i'll bring some of those books i mentioned, i lovem.
I´ll try to start here about 4 pm and think that I will need a good hour to pick up John O. If everything turns out right I´ll arrive in Belgium between 7 and 8 pm.
Hopefully my car will make it - I´m hearign strage sounds the past few days ...

Do you know how much money we should bring to pay for models / museums / food / party?
Setting up the catering here.. (i'll be back shortly with estimated costs and schedule)
Any vegetarians?
Special needs? Strange diets? Allergies?
shout!
In order to know the costs for the museums, i need to know how many of you are under 25.. Fipse doesn't need to reply![]()
As I found out yesterday I´m allergic against cats and guinea pigs. So please no Kitten or Ragout d´Guinea for me. Otherwise I´m easy to cater (and thinking about getting seniors discounts in the museum).
Btw I just read a few days ago that Brussels has one museum with a good collection of medieval weapons and armour. Do you know what one that is?

Yah I'm like *cough* *cough* twenty *cough* *cough*. I eat just about everything, I don't have to chase down and kill myself.

Expect the expenses to be around 60 euro / person...
This is a very rough estimate though (had a hard time trying to calculate the food cost there...), but look what's in the SCHEDULE!
