Thanks for sharing the journey Andrew. I see the Space Needle made it into your self portraits....if this doesn't settle the debate once and for all about how incredibly awesome Seattle is...I don't know what would.
I self-published a book on the fundamentals of drawing from life.

This has been a HUGE source of inspiration for me
So inspiring, both in the execution and passion
maaan, check out the PROGRESSION throughout the years!
SO COOL
are you going to leave it at a historical 1000 or keep cranking them out?
This is amazing--thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Are the two overlapping pictures in the first row intentional?
awsome, i want one.

You've inspired me.
I think I'm going to try to do this also.
Probably won't work out as well as your endeavor though.
I think someone else mentioned it, but this should definitely be made into a book or something. With some commentaries and stuff... that would rock. Is there any one that stands out as a favorite for you or the most memorable?
Congratulations, and thank you Andrew.Originally Posted by jetpack42

Thanks for a high res version. The second I get ink for my epson I am printing this off as large as I can get it. I just checked it out, 13x19 professional glossay paper here I come. I cant wait to hang it up now.
thats crazy, really crazy.![]()
Wow, so cool to see them all together. A true inspiration and proof that quantity matters when it comes to progressing! You should have an exhibition with all these. Call an art gallery, print them out and put them up on a big wall.
1. Put up on wall in Artgallery
2. ???
3. Profit!

thats cool but maybe you could've made something more out of this, like a big self portrait made out of all those small portraits combined.
So damn cool
I wish I could get this as a giant poster....

making one big SP out of all these would just be....pointless. after he's done 1000 sp's, he's got to make ANOTHER one to have impact?
anyway, I hope I can be as cool as andrew one day, in the meantime, i'm drawin'.
drew,
I feel ashamed for taking you for granted. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm tempted to say something else, but I'll just say "Holy Hanna . . . ."
It was a pleasure to meet you (though briefly) at the sf workshop.
I would love to attend a figure drawing session with you some time.

emily
