i agree with T-Raktor with the pecil/Ps issue. Although I do see some exciting things with your digital sketches which suprised me in a good way (great job on those) Just dont forget about those pencils, I do as well have difficulty working with pencils too. Its just a matter of knowning your tools that is all.

well, this is just to tide it all over, ive been doing more traditional drawing lately. sat down and forced myself to do some digi stuff to show u guys. ill have to sit down this week and scan some stuff in. its mostly just borring studies tho.

did a lil more work on this one

more foolin iwht the m@ brushes.

mattgamer: np dude thanx for peekin at mine too!

boogie: lets just call it stylized realism. lol i hope this second one is a lil better, the cheek is to white washed tho, ill fixit.

25:thnx, i did have fun in arizona, such a cool place. grand canyon was nutz. ok ill look for a more balanced plunge line next time.

t-raktor: thnx for peekin. yah i danno, i do do pencil, and i actually think its my strongest medium, i just dont post any of it, coz that means i gotta scan. and im lazzy. but yah u do get rusty wen u dont use it for a long time.

    serp: danke.

    25#2: here it is.

    t-raktor#2: thnx again

penc: thnx, and yes photoshop cs.

kresh: yeah, exactly. its very inspiring to know that u notice improvements in my digi stuff. and as i said b4 i am going to buckle down on tradish, its definatly my stronger medium. but i just find the tools and possibilities in digi so limitless and fun.

well now only if i can peel my hands off rome total war and do some drawing ill be updating like i was b4 my holidays. peace.

nice updates. I think you could focus a bit less on details and more on building up the forms. Especially in the hair, ear, nose, and mouth. Sometimes when you add details w/o building the forms first, your picture will end up looking kinda flat. You're also letting the shadow and highlight dominate too much. gotta have a lot of mids. You should have the most mids, then shadows, then very few highlights.

Practice makes perfect, the more you involve yourself with things the more you will see connections, then its down to hard work and time to execute a good piece of digi/art, keep on pile driving!

that one that is red with white lines is a brilliant idea... really reaches out the person viewing it and is a huge attention grabber... would be a sweet traditional style image for a portfolio or something.
keep up the sketchings and you'll definatly get where your headed.

Wish I could get to Montreal, but I really can't afford it. Everything included it would cost me about 1600-1700 bucks to get there from Sweden and I'm broke as a motherfucker... You should go if you can afford it tho, I'm sure it'll be a great experience. When's your birthday?

The latest update looks cool, altho the arms seem a little short. Also, just a little tip, toning the background in a medium value makes it a whole lot easier to judge correct value relations when painting.

i like the blood splatter effect. It took me a sec to read it though. Looks like he could be chopping off his wang there. youuch. You need some forshortening on the blades so they're more side way, more on the z axis.

Good stuff man, id try pushin some high values, seems almost all mid grays/blacks. The deep shadows work so push a few high lights aswell, on the few real bright spots.
Last looks good but id watch the arms, where youve cleaned it up with white in places (?) the arms are looking a bit thin.

Good stuff though, keep working at it.

Your work looks great! Definitely working that painterly style.

About that last one...your anatomy is a bit off...it looks like his hips are too low.

Even though the anatomy is off a bit on the latest update, it's really a great pose, and I think you should push it more, untills it's right!

I like the open mouth in the first one there. Also i would like to see some more complete looking color sketches. Instead of going mad crazy on one section slap some midtones down just to get the general shape of a figure and work from there, youll find everythings so much easier.

    Nice arm btw high five!!

sweet but what's with the exposed abs?

The part between the 2 bottom ab muscles and the ones above it have some range of motions so the abs won't line up all the time. Right now the middle of the abs is going into his right nipple. You should draw a line right down the middle to find where the pecs and ab muscles will go.

Yo, in your last post, the pose is great, but you got some anatomy issues you gotta work on. As Master 25 said, the abs, and the proportion of the torso I think. You could use some forshortening to give it some more dramatism, or dont know, maybe im just mumbling around! Anyway, draw, draw and draw.

    For ME? ;P Kidding.

Seriously though, you've very definately NOT killed it. Works so good with that hair, and the armour is cool. Maybe you've lost a bit of it's movement when the sword isn't blurred, but that's just a matter of taste.

And haha, that heart-monitor on the robot is funny!
