PHOTOBUCKET SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They jacked up the colors on these ones.
A side gig I had just received. The company’s sponsoring a program that will be airing on television and they need a splash to show through out the show.
Program used AE pro v.6, no stock was used. This is a vary rough sample rendered out in a storyboard like fashion just to present to the client.

Just an idea for a personal project. Conceived at work during lunch.

Just another quick lunch time concept. I may revisit this one some time in the future?
Comments more than welcome.

I like the last concept, although it appears as if he has four nostrils because you kept the shape of a human nose.
Thanks Sweet Sorrow. I do have to agree with you on the nose.
I pretty much started it with out any plan at its start and than had got a creative burst towards the end of the session, I started at the top and worked my way down, unfortunately I ran out of time and could not finish it. Looking at it now I see a ton of things that I would like to do with it but it will have to wait.
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you enjoyed your smoke![]()

@ Grandmassa Mr. Spect,
Thanks dude. I’m kind of swamped right now but I’ll probably have some more to post soon.
Thanks for stopping in bro, smok’em if you got’em!
Thought I’d drop this in here.
Text from original post below.
I finally got the chance to start using (2 cool) Painter X. The image below started out as just a scrap piece just to test out some of the brushes and turned into a session of a few hours. I had the idea floating around in my head for a few days though.
When I have some time I’ll probable create a character sheet and model it in Softimage or Maya and then composite it into some live footage to place in a new reel for 2008.
Thanks for looking,
-Rodney
Just got this for this image (kinda cool)

You have nice design ideas, but you might want want to study mechanical design, perspective, values, anatomy, etc.

Thanks for the interest!
Hey Rodney, how's the work coming?
Your sketchbook has some awesome and terrifying Geiger-esque stuff going on. I really like your aesthetic. I think doing some studies from reference and life, whether they be figure drawings or mechanical, would help you out a ton; expand your visual vocabulary. This is something I'm also guilty of not pursuing hard enough!![]()
Hey Ashley, Kinda swamped right now but that's a good thing : )
Figured I'd try to get a little social, been a while.
BRINKMAN, thanks! I hear you man, kinda lazy tho. Will get to that hopefully
soon, I know it would help me out a lot and I also have to start using
reference which I never do. Thanks for the post.
maybe try drawing your characters in poses or something. you got too much of face front portrait things going on.
cool stuff tho brah.
EDIT.
also, paint me naked. Don't know how i look like? just Make me up.

Hellfire,Thanks!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...lobweb1_65.jpg,
Gah! That made me jump a bit in my chair when I saw that bugged eye monster. Those are portraits with no reference. My only suggestion is to tighten up the strokes around the eyes.
Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!

Pigeonkill, Thanks! No I don't use reference, I'm a really lazy dude and
I know I should and I am going to try to start to do this soon. Thanks
your right about the eyes will have to tighten them up. Thanks for the post.
