Prom. and Craig Mullins inspired sketches!

Allright, well we all know who greg mullings is right? http://www.goodbrush.com

I've been looking at Craig's paintings recently and prometheus' paintings. So I'm trying to learn as much as I can from there art. What I want to get better at is rendering with color and light, and the only way to get better is through practice right? So here's my first attempt. Highly:p inspired by prometheus' work.http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/junk/robot.jpg

It was a very fun exercise, but I need to push myself even further. C & C highly welcome, especially by prometheus!

I have much to learn still...

novacaptain and I were talking about how I had way too many different light sources on my guy, and about light in general. Anyways, he did a paint over that helped me out a lot!

    thanks nova!

I think it's a bit better to practice by making studies from real life or photos.

    PO

I think the animals are in home.swipnet.se/zebes/myth/

WoW ! Thanks prom for the po. I can't read some of your writing, but looking at your po really helps! I am incredibly grateful. I'll be painting more things later and hope to get some feedback on them from you.

    It is http://home.swipnet.se/zebes/myth/

Thanks once again, for the help and the inspiration.

P.S Hopefully I'll be able to talk to your about it (where I screwed up) on irc sometime.
