I really like all your stuff. It has a quality about it. My only crit on the last piece is perhaps the need for tonal difference between the figure and the environment. I found myself not being drawn to one focal point but rather having to discern the figure on my own. Then again, that's probably what you had in mind!
Damn dude! Your joker is ridiculously luscious. Nice style.
Orozc0: I'm glad you like. Thanks man
Exquisite Beast: No. You're right. It could use some difference. I played around in PS just to experiment and when I changed the HUE to yellowishbrown...she began to pop out. Not that I'm going to change the colors that dramatically ... it just showed me a how to fix it it.
mentler: Thank you, man.
Made myself a little logo. For biz-cards or something.

I love the dynamism in some of the poses you draw. And your character designs are amazing, thanks a lot for sharing![]()
love your style! beautiful djinn!
for the logo : personally I feel that the typography doest fit with the rest. I don't understand the choice of a gothic font with the rest of the image. I like how the hair connect with the gear, maybe if the nose could do the same thing?
keep it up! ciao
like your sb very much!
nice style - love it
the only thing i can point a finger on - i think it's worth trying more subtle and vibrant colors in your works (not subtle and vibrant at the same time of course%))

I really like the logo but I feel that the text muddys the simplicity and iconic nature of the gear/head. Great stuff on the chow, you're an inspiration. *Subscribes*

oh man I thought I commented in here when I peaked in her the last time! Love the colors in your work and the logo definitely sends the right message 'cause it makes me think your just cranking out those creative ideas with those 'gears' in your head.
Your works are incredible! you improved a lot! I'll wait for more works.![]()

anjin Thank you!
eskanto glad you like!
So, I'm going to Comic-con again this year and I'm working on making another sketchbook to handout to everyone. It'll probably be a somewhat smaller than last years (which was, like 40 pages). Here's the cover; This is the basic premise that I'm going for. Pulp, sci-fi theme for the 40's & 50's. I'm still tinkering with the actual text, because as is it's a little boring. But this is what it'll look like. If you catch me at the show, just ask for one.
Below that...is my final for this weeks' chow.

great! Always it's a different thing when you mount an image with text in a cover!
Well, no way for me to go to the Con, so have fun and keep one sb for the future years!
keep posting, please.

Tonight's update:
Brock Sampson. It's for a character challenge for another art group that my friends and I put on. We haven't done one in over a year now...so we decided to get back together and do another. This time...paint Brock Sampson from Venture Bros.
Just a loose sketch...needs some major cleaning before going to paint.

Great work,man!
The gray version is cool but the green-blue version is right!I want to see it finished, but I am really appreciating the work in progress posting. I think that is the best way to use the forum.
keep this way, dude.

Camara & Anjin: Thanks a bunch.
Started painting: This is, like, the 4th start of painting. I did 3 yesterday that were crap. This painting, the whole thing - from sketch to even now, is really putting me thru the ringer. I like where it's going but to get to each stage is just frustrating. For some reason I just can't get my brushes to apply paint the way I want. Shakes head.
