This is my first post on a site I have grown to severly enjoy. At the cost of a small amount of sanity to stay up a little late I will proudly post my humble work. I welcome all critiques and look forward to a long stay at such an insperational and welcome change from the norm.

I like the original marker version quite a bit. I like the colored edit of it somewhat less. I like the all digital piece not at all.

I am quite proud of the prismacolor marker version before the colors. After color I wanted something that wouldnt blind me when I turn on my PC the mostly digital Piece is an unfinished sharpie picture that I wanted to see with some color and I like it more when it was undone. I have seen your work and I am very Impressed, I never had a chance to try out oil paint.

Here we go lets get started.

Lets try to start at the top.



First thing I ever saved in photo shop

A smaller seiries to get myself broken in to digital mediums I like the eye and the lady.



After some advise I took the pose from an image of Falcoon, a very talented japanese artist who does the art for snk games, and decided to do dante. more than a few mistakes but I realised a few things and someone pointed out the arm closet to the viewer is the same width from sholder to hand... heh cant change it now

along similar lines...


I used another image from falcoon attemting to get better poses. I also learned the power of layers fun stuff for me but I never liked what came of it... still I did learn valuable information from it.... More fun

tryn stuff needed more Ideas and learning photoshop... Still dont know the ins and outs as much as I like.

I like the red the green is ok and I like the blue's eye



While flawed it a large face I figured why the crap not. The glasses bugged me when I saw them after I made it unchangeable Im ok with that but I didnt have the time to make the image as clean as I wanted.



Had time to scan decieded to post... Man I love sharpies.

New tablet tryn it out. It is really smooth...


I did not have time to clean up the lines in pencil but I like what I did when I used a newer process for the coloring and Its one of the few that I scaned made larger and colored. Then I did this to it... (look down)

I like contrast as well


Wanted to try different colors with the newer process I used and this came out wierd... So I did stuff to it... (look down only slightly.. only slightly.)

Now for some things that are newer including some studies with Prisma color markers that I have grown quite fond of. The french grey set is quite nice dont have the funds for more yet but I really like them.

This one was fun and after being sleep deprived it came out better than I thought it would.



This is one of the peices that I didnt know where it was going or even what I was doin. It was finally done at two in the morning and after I woke up from the daze I looked down at the sketch book and probably crapped my pants. I know its flaws very well after looking at it next to the referene I hope yall can tell who it is it is my first attempt from a reference since I was in ninth grade.
Done with prisma color french greys.

OI OI, Hey everyone that Might care I have a small update for ya.

Starting out is a few sketches from some references, That I do not particularly like.



While I dont like them very much I did get something from them.



Getting used to my prisma color markers I can only speculate how much longer they will last heh heh This one in particular was quite fast.



I did put some time into this one but not too terribly much 1 or 2 hours I like it but I messed up the foot and He might as well be a gorrilla but I like it.

Your pencil and prismacolor work is going well. I dont know photoshop so I can't critique computer stuff except to say vaguely that I don't care for it. But I like the Tomb raider looking girl and the girl in glasses, very nice.

Heheee ha HAAA... hehe... You are not a moron novice, but it does bode well for me I only used water color paint for 2 years or so whenever I had projects and after school I had used them for my just for fun projects. Prisma colos are actually very similar in how they are used, so at least I am getting down what I want.

In general this is some of my crap that I had some fun with...


I want to make this a larger project, I just love the Idea of batman and superman fighting. I messed up some of the features of the flying superman and the cape. Other than that its crap but I had fun doin it.

It is not complicated but I understand more about the Prisma color markers that I did not realize first. And that Is pencil under prisma color marker is pretty ugly when I do it. But pencil above it has proven to be more suited to my liking.

Well to start things off I am TWENTY ONE.... and I did not drink... ok I had water but I played the longest game of pool in my Life. There was something in the pool ball I swear to god cut throat should probably be drunk OH Well....

I finally finished filling up a sketch book which has not been done by me for a very long time. Within a little over 3 months I have filled a new sketch book. Thankyou to anyone who is watching and I will post more when I get a new sketchbook... Lets get to it shall we

A whole sketch book huh... congrats. I cant remember the time i finished a sketch book myself... just seem to keep getting them before i can finish one.

Your art has really improved since you've begun posting here. Your marker work has made a great deal of progress but i would like to see some water color or charchoal from you. after all if you never dive in the deep end you'll never know if you can get that shiny quarter.... or something like that?! (its not like there is fire on top of the water now that would suck) seriously try something diffrent. you might like it. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on finishing a whole sketchbook. Is that superman vs batman stuff you drew inspired by Jim Lee's "Hush" series? I just finally got to read it over the weekend, and the themes look very similar. IE Batman put on a criptonite ring and fought with Superman. And since it's Jim Lee the artwork was just amazing. I know Batman and Superman are always fighting each other for some reason, so you might have gotten the idea from somewhere else.

It is very fun to work with.

I dont think that there is anything wrong with saying that it is very relaxing (mabey jus me in this case) to draw women, there is something therapudic that is not recived when drawing dudes. Mabey it is me, and it does not have anything to do with the sexual side it is more the act of creating something that you consider pretty, (Or a badass, badasses are relaxing too simply because there is nothing better than a really cool person (guy or gal) or character) , I dont want to seem over anxious to draw a woman over a man nessisarily but to emphasise the need to relax while drawing to relax and calm down not take mistakes too seriously. Mistakes are a given to whomever you talk to bad things can happen they are in fact a nesesity to some they help you to grow and how that ties into drawing women is beyond me at the moment but the more relaxed you can become the easier it is to accept that you can't always be perfect but you can be happy without perfection. Im going to read this tommorow and edit the crap out of it to one line I am sure. Sorry for the rant it is just the mood I am in.
