Going to post another progress work of this one...

#1-Started out with a rough sketch in B/W, Blocked out dark value

#2-Worked out some more of my values

#3-I then went to Hue/Saturation under the Adjustments,
and Colorized the Image to a Mid-Tone Brown
-On a new layer set to "Soft Light" introduced some more color
-Cleaned up some proportional issues with the neck

#4-To add some contrast added in the dark value into the background
- Continued to refine the paint
-Played with some adjusment layers (Hue/Saturation,
Brightness/Contrast etc..) until I got something I liked.

# 11 is my favorite so far, you handled some parts of the helmet very well. Value wise the latest self portrait is a lot cleaner/precise. your eyeballs are kinda floating in many of these, if you draw the eye socket first, and then stick an eyeball in it it helps with placement.

Some nice work. Last portrait's quite interesting. Tighten up your forms and don't go so dark (lighten up). Really good.

I think your color contrast is pretty good. A general feeling I'm getting is that your faces/figures can be more consistent than they are right now. Some of them appear slightly mal-aligned.

Crit time, its been a minute. Anyway glad you have been keepin up the dailys. My suggegestion right now. Do some individual nose stuies, not urs but just a generalized nose those seem to be ur weaker points on the face. I think steve hampton might have some stuff on his site. Hogarth breaks down the nose pretty well too. also don't be afriad to use the blur and smudge tool to bring some of your stokes together, just don;t use them too much to be super noticable
