Seeking partner to develope the visual style of a shortfilm

Hi!

I hung around these forums quite a long time now, but my drawing and painting skills are not so well developed. I am working as a professional vfx-artist for the movies and the time has come to do my own shortfilm-debut. Funny thing is : There will be no real vfx in this one.

This is a sparetime project, but it I want it to become great and because my own money will flow into this, it has to be well prepared and planned. For this reason I am searching for an artist, who is capable and willing to help me on my journey. I am currently still in the writing and I would like to exchange ideas and pull the film to a higher level.

I know working for no money sucks! I also avoid to do that. But I promise this one will be worth it!

The story takes place in a timeless office. It's a satirical comedy about two workers who don't like each other and in the end find to each other. It's about the stupidity of men always looking to be the best.

Hi, Your project sounds intriguing, and easy to visualize. Would you be interested in allowing a second year student of GAD to get involved? I am interested in Film Production, and hope to someday work as a StoryBoard Artist for animated/non animated film productions when I complete my BA.
I will begin my third year of school(AIO) on July 11. I am looking for projects to gain experience, and apply my skills to.

This project sounds intriguing. I'm a HUGE film buff and once considered a career in filmmaking myself before I moved on to graphic design and now working on a Bachelor's in Animation. I'm currently in school, but if you have info I definitley could suggest some things for you. What are you looking for visually, exactly? Since there will be no FX are you thinking something like One Hour Photo or Being John Malkovich? I can do storyboards, but I'm not sure how well concept designs will work on a project like this. I've never been published before so I dunno nothin'.

Well... Visually I thought in the direction of a Gilliam or Burton film... I would not set the story in a specific time or era. Everything has to be comically overdone and exaggerated. So I think some concepts would be necessary.

I would also develope a reference for the lighting with some color-moods and define a palette of colors to work with in this movie.
