Random shots in the trailer park

Just found CA about a week ago by accident. There's an amazing amount of talented artists here, but I figured I'd throw my stuff out here anyway. A good chunk of my own works will never see the light of day, having been doing these books for more years than I care to admit! In any event, nice works out there, people. Here's some of mine, starting with a few older pieces...if I can grasp the whole image hosting thing..

Ok, since that worked, here's a few more...

    Newer ones..

Like I said, no where NEAR the caliber of the stuff I'm seeing here, but my contribution. I'll add more later after I get it resized.

I dunno here. If u are trying to go for a classic comics looke here (like the '30s kinda look), u've done great. But if u were going for a anatoically correct approach, these drawins need more work. For example, this last one has the arms too short, and the hands are too small. Also the way the neck is connected to the shoulder is too direct, it look like she has a bodybuilder neck. Anyway I like the shading on these ones. Keep it up!!

i think these are great!- i'm really liking the whole coop thing you've got going on. Sometimes your anatomy- particularly in the face- is a bit shonky, but as a whole the pictures work really well. the only thing that really stands out to me is that often the eyes look a bit wierd? maybe bone up on some eye ref...

I really like the retro look youre going for in the comics, yet on some, such as the chicks in your second post, have some anatomy issues to be checked out.. Your other stuff is good. Especially dig the inking. :I Great start, keep posting dude!

T-Raktor-Not sure myself what I'm going for, but did get more influences from old magazines like the Saturday Evening Post rather than anything by Marvel or DC. But, yeah-they need work. Good to get a seperate artists opinion!

Newman-Good catch on the Coop. He's another artist who's work has influenced me.

Sirio_Brozzi-Thanks! I plan on continuing to post. Some of the ones in there are older. I do need to start throwing dates on these!

Here's one from today. Nothing to serious. Just messing around. German dude from a reference screen cap. Everything else not. More later. -E

I really like your stuff, especially the characters, I'm a huge R crumb fan, and yours is reminiscent of that shit, but not too much, you got your own flare

Nice style you've got going on here, for sure. I like how clean all your linework is.

It's been said, but I'll agree that some anatomy studies would really help you out. But if you're just doing these for fun and as a hobby, I wouldn't sweat it.

Thanks Pickles. Yeah, I like most of Crumb's stuff. Now there's a guy with some sketchbooks!

Thanks to you too, Ryn. Agreed that I could use some anatomy work. This isn't my primary job, but I've made a few bucks off it. That's what's cool about this place. If I can sell some of this stuff, y'all oughta be raking it in! Plus, seeing everyone elses work does have the effect of making a person want to improve their own stuff. (which I know I got plenty of room for!)

If you're younger (or older I guess) and plan on doing this for a living-don't 'F' around. Do it! Or, if you don't plan on doing it for a living, find a job where they tolerate you doing alot of drawing on the site. Worked for me! Other than that, have fun with it!

Here's a few from the last couple days-
