Hell yes! What sort of things will you be going over, in terms of tools, and process?

about time you posted more art!!

this is nice, rendering and design style are both pretty fresh. it's like elektra or red sonja but with a realisticly un-attractive face.

I can't attend your classes (since they're on the otherside of the continent), so I'll settle more another step-by-step when you have time.

I like that picture you have there. Not sure what's going on, but I like it.

    Great Stuff... Love the hair...

And i like the fact that she's not some amazonian beauty... but a little funny-faced and short-legged. She could probably do with seeing a doctor about those varicose veins though...

Nice to see some more work from you. More please.

    Thanks guys

I just bought myself a set of nice oil paints two weeks ago.

Here is my second painting in oil (To be honest I am still not sure how the medium works yet)... portrait of my girl Maiko done in an hour 2 hours ago.
    Hope you like it

Wait a second... lemme get this straight... you friggin' ROCK in painter... and you've only done 2 oil paintings? WTF? Did you use acrylics or watercolor before? Or are you just a natural badass? Anyway, glad you're back. I love your work, and I visit your site pretty frequently. A good source of inspiration. Keep it up man

Phuzion> I have been concentrating on Photoshop and painter for roughly ten years now but I use to do illustrations in watercolor, gouache and acrylic inks waht seems a long time ago.

I use to think that the analog methods were not worth it, that they take too long compared to the computer... but more I work on computer more I crave for the "real" thing that I can touch.

i like this, there is so much fire and darkness in your drawings.
darkness and fire my two favorite things.

anyhow make more oils.you have a very "old" style when painting with oils.
i like it, havent seen it for very long.
and the girlfriend is cute too .

    Red face blackfrog

hey I like the first picture, done really well, but is her lips intended to look like that? sorta puffed at the nearest edge and lop sided looking? dont take this in offence you may have done it intentionally

I love the style and color of this first piece! Wild hair and cool veiny limbs. Very cool. Are her eyes just black?

It seems like her hat should be coming off or something because of the powerful wind below her feet.

I wish the oil pic wasn't so blurred...

cannibalcandy>Tools... not really my focus, it doesn't matter to me as long as it doesn't slow you down you're fine with anything...I'll be teaching about the thinking process, how to deal with the production constraints and still give the best you can.
But mostly I'll be teaching my own way of approching design problems.

    bwkeough>yeah I know I've been out for a while... been working on stuff I can't show...bummer!
duddlebug>Borred to death with amazonian beauties fuck'em!

    Chuck,mate.> Thank you sir

Mort>Thanks for the encouragement... the "Old" style is what I love...
Klimt and Sargent are my monsters.
I'm just starting but I like the feel of it

Sems>Yes it was meant that way... I'm borred with the "cannons" of beauty I like to give characters a "fault" to make them a bit less 2D

    csteingart>Yeah, I'm excited.
Dude, same here, I'd like to speak English too one day.

Art_Addict>Yeah sorry I was so childishly excited about showing to you my first oil painting that I grabbed a pic straight off my web cam.

ArtisticSchmidt>yep just black, i was going for querky

    el coro>HEY COROOOOO!!!
I wanted to grab you first and show it to you (since it's your fault my kitchen table is a mess)

    Oils are great!!!
It'll take me a while before i can do anything I am really happy with though but that's ok.

Thanks for putting me on the right path... it's liberating
